also....it is not that only a state of mental depravity causes him to commit this nefarious act; people do it for submission, for REVENGE, to show 'rm whos the boss; to "assert" their superiority...which is why you hear of so many rapes during riots and wartimes.....

following your logic......no person accused of any ghastly gory crimes should ever be punished.....no psychopaths, mass murderers, child-killers or gangsters should be punished by law but "treated compassionately" for what they did, right?👎🏼

Just out of curiosity... where does it say that sympathizing with rapists is a crime.. there are people sympathizing with terrorists..openly . which is more heinous.there are po*n sites openly showing or simulating rape so. I think this forum is becomeing like some fundamentalist society... intolerant of views.. and opinions... every point some one threatening the cops, forum actions... Is all this your personal belief, the IM stand or something else..!!!!

To your second point.. regarding...actions start in mind.. right... but even somebody's verbal say of wanting to kill someone is not taken as corroborative evidence enough to establish criminal intent... medical books dont recognize murder!!! they call it an accident.. which is actually true...

in light of all this.. people should behave like adults... and those who feel they are too sensitive to take the heat should go and take a nap or relax!! Points of view might defer....they can be outrageously offensive but then arent we acting like the fundamentalist!!!

You as a moderator along with other folks were making fun of religious scriptures and you think you have that absolute power to do anything you want!!! didnt you go against the forum rules!!!??

I understand his point as not being one of supporting rape but trying to understand the underlying psychological situation.....why is it so difficult to perceive this point for "assumedly" " educated forum members!!

Dont forget every rapist has a defendant in the court!!! Doesnt mean they endorse it!!!

I think some member need to really GROW UP!!!!

Finally i dont know where you got the last statement from!!! Didnt expect it from you.. I love you for your individuality and independent stance.. but seems like you are sucking up to the vox populi!!!! dont change, you are perfect just the way you are...or were...or whatever...

You might want to review your post now...

regarding insensitive and obnoxious isnt that what we feel about fundamentalism!!! when some terrorist blows up 100's of people... why do we still think rape is more heinous than massacre.. If its your pov i respect that but dont put a emotional tone on that and make it sound like 'the most' heinous crime or whatever... I would say Pedophilia is more heinous.. somebody might say killing is more heinous.. dont judge people who opine.. understand what they might be trying to say... but "masses" are generally incorrigible and i dont expect them to change their hardset pov....

Lastly i am not saying two wrongs make a right.. you are reading wrong!!! All i am saying if you want to debate on whats most heinous... dont start ganging up if on individuals who DONT think rape is the MOST heinous of all crimes!!!!!

and when you talk about "Rehabitating" a rapist....are you not covertly asking for his pardon? in my eyes, Rape is the crime which emptionally, physically and mentally destroys a person and hence the person committing it does not deserve to live. THATS my stance.....as a woman, as a human being. Say whatever you will to that.

that is the point- you see what nobody else does- kinda reminds me of the Mediator series by Meg Cabot when i was a teen- it was about a girl who could see dead people.😆😉
