er, I remember reading about krishna in amar chitra katha (a comic book dealing mainly with indian mythology and stuff, quite interesting actually) and I loved reading that one in particular. I used to laugh where a half naked muscular guy with smelly armpits and a hairy chest says "ready krishna?" challenging him to a fight, grinning ear to ear :P
