I once heard someone say Krishnaji is their heart and Ramji is their conscience. Lord Krishna tells them what to do to make themselves and others happy, while Ramji tells them whatis the right thing to do in a situation. For me, it is also like that. Love both of them so much.๐Ÿ˜Š

Janaki ji you are lucky to have a love for God so early. My heart was a barren desert before n I am still struggling. But ladies do feel more deeply generally.

Thank you Summer.๐Ÿ˜Š My deep faith in God is all thanks to my parents, who from a very early age taught both my sister and me about God's infinite love. At a young age I was introduced to our puranas and Hindu mythology thanks to the Amar Chitra Kathas my parents bought us, and as I grew older, I began to form a fetish for mytho movies based on the Ramayana and Mahabharata, and as I grew even older, I formed a desire to research into the 'real story' myself and began reading the thick texts and translations by various authors, and also by watching the purely made mytho serials by true directors like Dr. Ramananad Sagar. and Mr. BR Chopra. I had no use for those directors who added silly fluff to the show and failed to express the divinity of the characters.
I wish you all the best in overcoming your struggles. I can understand what you mean.

Hmm, consciousness is not my area of expertise but I thought it's supposed to be the ideal (perfect) state of mind. As soon as you attain that state, you bliss out and the whole journey of soul-searching ends. Feel me?

Cute! (at the underlined!)

And don't worry. There's no expert on consciousness ergo no expertise out there on this subject. Consciousness refuses to be defined.

That said, I think you were describing nirvana.

But, I promised I will not turn this Krishna thread into one of my boring, long-winded speeches so we will talk about consciousness somewhere else.

Gayatri Mantra the ultimate truth...

AUM BHOOR BHUWAH SWAHA,
TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM
BHARGO DEVASAYA DHEEMAHI
DHIYO YO NAHA PRACHODAYAT.

Summary of the Gayatri Mantra

Gayatri Mantra (the mother of the vedas), the foremost mantra in hinduism and hindu beliefs, inspires wisdom. Its meaning is that "May the Almighty God illuminate our intellect to lead us along the righteous path". The mantra is also a prayer to the "giver of light and life" - the sun (savitur).

Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life,
Remover of pain and sorrow,
The Bestower of happiness,
Oh! Creator of the Universe,
May we receive thy supreme sin-destroying light,
May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction.

gayatri mantra in sanskrit
Lord Shiva The ardhanarishwar ultimate god....
Vaishnavas worship Lord Vishnu...So Lord Rama & Krishna
Brahmins worship Lord Shiva and Mataji...
One god many forms...Personal choice and belief...As long as we belive in something superior than all is well...

When Krishna sang and danced with the Gopikas and Gopis he was only about 5 years of age, much younger that even or Debs.๐Ÿ˜†

After a while Krishna left the Gopis and headed for Mathura and they were all heart broken and kept pining for Krishna to return. After a long while Uddhava brought a letter from Krishna to them but none could read because some were unlettered and one said that her tears would soak the letter and another said that because of all the pining for Krishna her letter too would catch fire if she touched it. So Uddhava read the letter to them.
Although the gopis experienced Krishna consciousness all the time still they longed to see the physical form of Krishna like bees attracted to nectar. Truly they had madhura bhakti , and at the mention of the name of Krishna Radha would be lost in bliss.

Ha ha I will leave the subject as such. I am not fit to speak of Krishna but thoughts of him keeps entering my consciousness.
