Here in America, if two people get drunk and the male has sex with the girl and it's consensual, then the girl can charge the guy with rape because according to the coroner, the girl 'was not in the right frame of mind' to know what she was doing. It's too much, really.

Can the guy not charge the same?

Yes, but the benefit of doubt goes to the girl ALWAYS, which really sucks.

More or less the same thing. People can take either route to reach the same destination.

Not always. There had been exceptions.

Thanks for the information, however it still isn't possible to comprehend anything from here, and I'm sure you can understand that. We sure need to know more, but I don't think the discussion is really applicable for this place, besides, I doubt if you will want to go any further.

Just three question without meaning to offend (ignore these if you don't want to answer) - do you drink or addicted to anything? Do you have a clear account of what happened then, or does it come of as hazy? Did you have a face to face confrontation with him after this incident? (If no, I would strongly suggest you to. This is very essential irrespective of how you both feel).

1. i was not drunk, i don't do drugs or drink
2. I have a very clear account of what happened, not at all hazy.
3. How does one confront their nephew about such a topic?

I am not gonna see a counslor. I am not going crazy over this. I ain't gonna talk to family because I don't want to see anyone upset and ruin family relationships. Plus, I doubt anybody would believe me to be honest. I was just visiting and my cousins that live there have never had an issue. So people might ask why me? and i don't have an answer to that.

Plz ignore my comment if you don't like it. Perhaps you have a guilty conscience.
