Okay, So since there were like two topics opened in opposition to the MayUr SBS and SBB segment, I thought I'd open a topic to put forth my point of views.
What I don't get is, are people here AGAINST Intimacy for some reason? Does today's youth actually believe that College goers have the purest form of Love? Do you guys really think it's only studies they focus on? Heck, even school kids don't focus on studies these days. And if you're in a relationship, you would very well agree. And as for the youth aspect of MJHT, it is Still there. They are showing what today's youth is capable of. What they showed in the segment was nothing compared to what we see in real life. And If people are mature enough to differentiate between romantic and vulgar, then why aren't they mature enough to understand that this is fiction and that it isn't to be tried out? Blaming media for promoting wrong stuff is really the biggest hypocrisy I've seen. On one point, people are against stereotypes, and now when they're trying to show a bolder side to a character, there are questions arising. We are being questioned for our open mindedness. Are we really open minded, if we cannot even take in this scene, which is supposedly tagged as Vulgar?
Then what would you like to say about bollywood movies? Why aren't they being bashed and criticized for the same?
It's just plain hypocrisy. On one hand, it's okay to see all this in movies, and on the other hand, it's a strict No-No to be shown on television. Why such hypocrisy?
In my opinion, this scene was romantic. They showed two people in Love. I didn't find anything vulgar in it. And I'm a fifteen year old, and I know what Cheap and Vulgar is. People of my age get into stuff which one couldn't even dare imagine to be shown on TV. Now THAT is cheap. This scene in the barn was intimate, and romantic. And Intimacy is essential in every relationship. If Intimacy were to be tagged cheap, I'd presume the whole world would be called cheap.
And really, it's too early to comment. The Episode hasn't been aired yet. So how could you comment it was cheap, and not romantic?
That's all I'd like to say. Please do not be harsh and bash if you oppose my ideas. It would be nice if you could put it out in a much better, and polite way.
No offence to anyone. Just my pov.
