I don't know why you brought FOBs in the discussion. But anyways... there are around 500 million males in India. I hope you don't think the whole lot is disgusting or perverted. If not, then obviously all FOBs won't be disgusting or perverted either as it's the same men who are going abroad. Thing is you'll most prolly come in touch with more desi FOBs than FOBs of some other country which will increase the chances of seeing more disgusting desi FOBs.

Ok maybe I should've stated I live in the UK and by FOBs, I meant FOBs in UK cos if they are a FOB(Fresh off the boat), then obviously, they are not in India and do not consist of the entire 500 million males that you talk about😆

I hope i didn't offend you but I have had very very bad experiences with them. Not just a few, but a lot.

No you didn't understand me, I wrote the post keeping in mind that you live in UK or US. Who else calls new people FOBs anyways.
What I meant was that the South East Asian FOBs that you're talking about are obviously migrating from the sub-continent, right?? So, if 100% of those living in India are not disgusting or perverted then how can 100% of those who migrate be disgusting or perverted?? Which is why I said that maybe because you encounter more FOBs from the sub-continent (compared to FOBs or migrants from other countries), that's why you feel that only desi FOBs are that way.

He probably is not getting something at home and someone outside the home is readily willing to offer it. So perhaps there is some sort of understanding. But now that it happens so openly she is perhaps takes it as an insult.. What happens in a relationship is not known completely to outside world.

To judge something that you dont know completely or understand completely is perhaps small minded. To make sweeping statements perhaps qualifies as moral policing. The same moral policing when someone else does we hate.

same reason why certain women are so very disgusting.

For a long long time, woman's role in the society was to be that of a home maker and a nurturer. Men used to be the bread winners - a responsibility that requires stepping outside the boundaries of their homes and getting the opportunity to meet with new people. Hence, men, in general, had more freedom and more opportunity to act out on an impulse or temptation than women of that era.

Now a days, more and more women are cheating too. Today's woman is more independent financially and stepping outside her home more often than before. She has the exact same opportunities that her male counterpart has had in the past. Today's woman also considers herself at par with her man. If she is not satisfied in her marriage, chances are either she is going to say something about it or she is going to do something about it - just like the man has been doing all along.

This change in mindset along with the financial and emotional freedom is the main reason for more women cheating these days than before. Hence, we can't go on claiming that only guys cheat or only guys are disgusting.

That said; I still feel that MOST women cheat because they are lacking emotional connection with their current spouse where as MOST men cheat because of the thirlls of physical relatonship. This doesn't make one form of cheating superior to another or vice versa. This is just an observation.

Okay, I usually don't like to laugh at people's woes, but O-M-G!

THE Karan Singh Grover is a two-timing (whoops, I mean three-timing) jerk? The KSG that all these girls on IF have made into some kind of Greek God, where they hold him high on a pedestal, and assume that he can do no wrong, has cheated three different women? And now I go and read the IF article and see the comments below it where there are silly teenage girls who are STILL supporting this can't-dance-to-save-his-life freak.

My question is what the hell is wrong with these people? Shiney Ahuja and now him - do six packs and hot bodies come with a package of immorality? And why are teenage girls soooo stupid? For the love of God, get over good looks.

Back to the topic - why are men so disgusting? I don't think we should limit this to men only, there are women out there who are just as much of a low-life. With the example of KSG, why did Jennifer Winget or Nicole involve themselves with him knowing that he's married? Their automatic first thought should've been that if he can leave his wife for me, then he'll leave me for someone else - stupid bimbos. And to top it all of - we can always be left wondering is this kind of publicity stunt?

Anyways, back to why people in general are so disgusting - I think because they can be, because they have the ability to be and the opportunities to make it happen. And especially because there are others who support them in their decisions. The first time you do something wrong - its a mistake, but after that its immoral. And knowing the difference is the key here.

Anyways, let's not lose hope - I'm sure there is a guy out there who's not like that. And if he's there, then he's mine, so back off. 😆

Is he intelligent and can hold a conversation?

Does he actually try to understand you?
