I think nowadays (especially in bollywood) people watch the films more for the actors in the movie then for the actual story/movie itself.

If people can relate to a movie OR if there's something beleivable & logic in a movie, it usually sells. Again, it all depends upon the whole package...songs, story, music, lyrics, dialogues, crew, actors etc.... 😛
