Actually, there really is no wrong age to start enjoying the tax and other monetary benefits of legal marriage.

I've seen girls who look forward to marry, as soon as they turn 18. As they said in a Mal movie, there are two types of 18, the kid's 18 and the matured people's 18. This happens in rural areas, where the ultimate wish of every girl is that some guy comes and asks their hand, give birth to a dozen of his kids etc.

For the more educated, they have dreams, of a successful flourishing career and a huge amount of self-respect, the feeling that they shouldn't be an absolute nobody when they get married, because post marriage, priorities change, and for girls, it will be tough to concentrate on their careers after that, so to be on the safer side, they slog, work hard, and make a mark of their own in their field, and then alone gets married.Esp for girls who love kids and have always longed for one of their own. After marriage, U just won't be able to resist the idea of having a kid, that even career takes a back seat. Later, the kid's born, they have eyes for nothing other than their babies, look forward to seeing them grow etc. I for instance, want to take atleast 2 yrs off from work after I have a baby, because I want to see him grow in front of my eyes..I don't want my mom-in-law or anybody to call me up and tell me'Ur baby's taken his first steps!!!'

I would say, there is no such perfect age. The perfect time would be to get marired only when U feel U've become what U've always dreamt of.

20 is okay too, but i want to enjoy my adulthood.
And career troubles...i want to be a doctor and by the time im done with uni, med school, and residency im gonna be 29
its gonna be difficult cause i want to get married around 23-25

One main reason why I didn't opt for medicine..there's a common joke in my class that by the time those MBBS girls have all become real doctors, the rest of us will have had grandchildren!

I beilive if someone totally emotionally, physically and financially independent from your parents and you are ready to take more resposiblities and ready to adjest with your needs, goals, and relationship requirements then it means you are ready..marry 😃
