No, Like Sur or Spdp mentioned, he asked her many times if she trusts him or not. I think he wanted her to drop the case because he was beginning to worry for her. He knows what the system is capable of doing to someone like her. But now that she has taken a stance, he will have to do something to protect her. And he will. Maybe we will find out in the end that he had been working another angle all along? We will see..

I think with everyone being caught there will be a lot of vacant positions in the administration and ministry. Adarsh will land up getting one of them. That is all.
