He will be the mastermind. But mastermind of change. He will be heading a committee that is investing internal corruption in the administration. No one, Manohar, Jai, no one will know about it.

The reason Adarsh kept asking Swa to drop the case is because he thought she won't be able to get justice for Asad. She will be attacked and the system will try to shut her down. He wants to keep her safe. But he will be working in the background to ensure that justice is served and the true culprits are identified.

This is my theory 😆

My perspective is simply from the stand point that a finite show of this sort is a means to inspire the audience in some way. They have a definite message that they want to convey in a small amount of time. I doubt the intention will be to spread a wrong message.

If they end with Swadarsh dying, or Swadarsh separation, then the system wins. What is the end message? That no matter what you do, the system will win. So you might as well not try? I doubt any show wants to give that message to its audience.

A better message will be that if you have good intentions and do your job well, you will get the right results. But if you misuse your position, no matter what your position is, you will face consequences.

I think the intent is to show the latter.

No, Like Sur or Spdp mentioned, he asked her many times if she trusts him or not. I think he wanted her to drop the case because he was beginning to worry for her. He knows what the system is capable of doing to someone like her. But now that she has taken a stance, he will have to do something to protect her. And he will. Maybe we will find out in the end that he had been working another angle all along? We will see..

Adarsh's "Do you trust me?" to Swadheenta was ringing a lot of bells in my head. If it was supposed to be a hint that he is doing something on his own in the background, the CVs have been very subtle. Very smooth!
