Swadeentha fought like a lion in court today.

Fiery and with full ammunition, that all of Suhasini's objections dissipated into the wind.

Suhasini could see, Swadeentha was on to something concrete. And that little demonstration showed a lot more than just how Asad was perceived to be holding the suicide bomb jacket.

It also showed how quickly and hastily the police acted against the wrong person, regardless of who he was. All cops were ready to shoot the hapless inspector holding the jacket. That realization shocked everyone in the galley. Adarsh was horrified, Suhasini must agree how convincingly she slammed that fact down pat.

The anxiety in Yash Bundela's face, and reciprocal suspicion in Suhasini and Adarsh's face says it all. The seed of doubt has been planted. Suhasini is beginning to doubt the police report. And the reporter's news bit made even Simmy begin to see a different side of the story.

Suhasini, Adarsh, Jai, Jaya, Simmi : they want their Abhay's murderer to be punished. If the facts show otherwise, they would be more than willing to let Asad and Haider go free.

I don't see them being stubborn and spiteful right now. If Arvind Gupta did it, then HE should pay, according to them. I don't think they would hold it against Swa for winning.

But Manohar has been given the truth , in a file. A secret file.

The police wrongfully shot an innocent boy thinking he was a terrorist.

Jai is there for a reason. And he is given this burden for a reason. He had broken his house rules before, when it came to Adarsh and Swadeentha's love story. I think he'd have a lot of trouble keeping this secret. Especially since he got his love with his wife, and his brother is at brink of separation with the love of his life.

Also Manohar keep the secret from Suhasini. He knows Suhasini would never allow her son's murderer go scot free. There would be a fiery wrath when she finds out what Manohar has done.

Now Adarsh's family stands in the way of the two. Adarsh thinks his family is right, and Swadeentha is wrong.

His family will know that she was right, but will be quiet.

If they separate, they will know that they are responsible for Adarsh's heartbreak.

Speak up Jaidev !

It all depends of Jaidev Sinha now. Can he listen to his conscience. Can he understand his brother's desperate cry at his last breath holding his hand.

The characters have all been given names that are suggestive of how they will contribute to the story. It is now Jai's turn to prove why he was named thus.

And we wait with anxious breaths.

Blind faith in their parents is the hamartia of the Sinha lads.

What allegations Saasuma piles up against the Gilanis for the attachment and affection evoked in Swa is something she has seen in her sons. They are so blinded by their affection and are willing to tow the line that would make their parents happy. They become the sacrificial lamb at the altar of parental pressure , ego and sense of propriety.

Love for Jaya is something new for Jai and that comes above all else. The symbolic game played out when the terror attack was unfolding. When he has to now choose between what his parents want and what Jaya believes...he might choose Jaya. The black thread assumes significance as the ties that will restrain him. So what will Jaya choose?

Adarsh definitely will choose truth as also Saasuma. When and how they discover the truth is crucial.

There is no remorse or guilt seen as yet on their faces as they have not accepted Swa as their own as yet and her pain seems not so crucial as theirs at Chottu's death or the public uproar they will soon face.

It is when Adarsh's marriage is pushed to the brink or another family member is in grave danger that they will rally together.

Do they give sanctity to truth and integrity or is it going to be a blame another and escape. The scapegoat dram has begun with media playing out its fairy tales...will Principle survive the onslaught? My guess is it will else everyday will become a living death for Adarsh and Suhasini.

I agree with you @shrutiravi .. you said once that Jai will lead and Adarsh will act. I'm glad Jai isn't as slimy as Manohar. ..

I only fear that it will be at a dramatic critical moment where Swadeentha might be in trouble trying to catch Iftikar.

I find in raising kids we try teach what's correct and principled, but we may or may not be subscribing to those very notions ourselves.

Suhasini taught her boys well, they have grown into impressive lads. But she and Manohar have made questionable choices that doesn't fit with what they taught the boys .

Suhasini tries hard to be correct but somehow I never understood how she allowed herself to get involved in the ministers shady deal.

Also, I was curious as to why Manohar has to be suspended of the "system" made a mistake about Asad?

I had the same question how does Sinha become the fall man? He is not the police man who gave shooting orders...he did not circulate the pictures of the terrorists(Abhay did) The prelude was the commission was appointed as Swa was screaming foul...

The Sinha lads are fine no doubt...the fact they can't speak against their parents even when they are hurt or dont agree is their tragic flaw.

Ditto my feelings right now! We did get to see a picture of Tridha and Siddharth posted on their FB page, I guess Adarsh would get to know about Arvind Gupta being the real terrorist when swa is in danger. Jai will only speak up after being pushed to the brim. Only that can serve as a trigger, cause honestly they can't afford to lose one more innocent life fighting for justice and peace!
