Maybe because Eddie Thawne is somehow related to Eobard Thawne which they are sure gonna elaborate on in the forthcoming episodes.

I haven't read the comics & haven't yet read about how Eddie's character does pan out eventually but have got a feeling he is gonna turn up on the bad side.

So his knowing Barry's secret complicates things to a totally different level.

I would have neither if it weren't for Cisco making the connection in the epi "Out of time" & to which Eobard says he is a distant relative.

That's why he didn't kill him when they tried to trap him all part of the grand plan of Eobard because with Eddie killed Eobard wouldn't exist.

SnowBarry wasnt gonna happen,was it.I mean if they stay true to the comics then its definitely WestAllen.Barry & Iris get married eventually.

Yeah I know that, but I was hoping it'd be SnowBarry, just like its in the Green Arrow comics Oliver is paired opposite the Laurel but they changed it.
