We can't really be thinking that we cripple Pakistan when we have seen much bigger powers Israel and Russia fighting wars with literally non-existent military powers

Pakistan is a much bigger military than these

Pakistan is provoking and not accepting that they are attacking because they want India to retaliate so they can play victim card like Hamas and create a negative perception

Difference is that Israel had support of USA, we don't

If we keep pressurising our government in josh, we are ruining chances for our growing economy

It is very much possible to cripple pakistan. It has fights in itself from its own three fronts. IMF and World Bank can continue what they are doing, the moment pakistan breaks. It will have a huge impact.

It’s amazing how the country has come together as one unit to confront this situation. Not an easy thing to achieve considering the vast lengths and breadths of our land and languages and ideologies and what not.

And those lies become eternal truth so why hue and cry about that?? Why to reveal it?? Terrorist indians, hindus, Islamophobicssmiley7

Again, dear, Islam isn't my religion smiley2

The last question surely is the most important one... What do y o u think, "why there is so much pressure", Raj?

Because of lack of time I only comment on the questions (as good as possible)...I mostly agree to the comments in-between.

After what you so kindly let me know about your life, I think, I best tell you a bit about what I lived/live myself. That may also answer your questions.

I assume that you, basically, live in a relative peaceful place with Muslims in your near environment. It's a bit the same to me although the young people frequent public schools as there isn't an Islamic one in the vicinity. Also, their situation isn't comparable with those young men who are mentioned in the excerpt I've posted as this are mostly families where the parents are already living and working here since between 20 to 30 years. It's also a small community but with quite educated backgrounds. There are also some Indians living in my area.

At Mumbai and elsewhere in India, it was me, the foreigner. My visites before 2014 gave me another impression of the communal life than after 2014 and when I asked my aquaintances I knew from previous visits, they talked about Muslim or Hindu (which wasn't even a subject previously), about raising aggressivity and also more arguments/conflicts with the youngsters and the Imam and some of their neighbours and about what they have watched on TV and taking distance to the '"other" one...Pakistan became subject, too. It was still in a nascent state and there were still mixed groups. Of course, I asked them about their feelings and they all admitted that they felt uneasy...they didn't know what was true about some things shown or told...there had been meetings where sometimes someone came to tell them what to do and what not... when, initially, they had asked something which they felt uneasy about, didn't want to do or didn't understand, they got scolded that they would not be "good" Hindus/Muslims etc...although knowing English, they mostly are simple people, some even standing in groups in the morning waiting to get work for a day at least...some boys had to change school, some girls got mobbed in school...

I also have aquaintences in "higher" places, working in a company or having business whom I call from time to time...some also changed through the years, they told me that some things one better shouldn't discuss anymore, not at work, not even in the family, best only with people with the same mindset (and even then, one can't be sure). They got to know through factchecking and other people that one couldn't trust if photos, videos and reports hadn't been made or manipulated, they felt to get urged into thinking in a certain way (Hindus and Muslims and one Sikh, I know).

My aquaintances in Germany openly would- among other subjects - either criticise Indian politics or laud them, but there also, distancing happened because of different views on religious matters (Hindu/Muslim) and politics so that our one group split into two groups (each including me).

About Islamic terrorism, I only got the same answer: criminals, horrible persons, indoctrinated Muslims, fck Pakistan to give them place and shelter, there are also groups in India...almost all the things I read here, too, and I also think. None of my aquaintances has a nice word for them - unanimous rejection and anger, no excuse for what they did and do.

Nevertheless, I got told that there are people who aren't happy at all about that it even could happen, that the valley had been chosen because of being remote and without cameras and security and that it was only t o l d that it had been Muslim terrorists from Pakistan and from Kashmir but that it had not been really well investigated.

The last opinion I got was an unanimous yes for targetting the nine terror-camps...that gave a really high to all the people I contacted (including the Muslims among them). Some said that it had been long overdue. However, most of them don't want a regular war.

Okay i understand now, you are not Muslim.

But honestly i didnt understand what you said or how it relates to the reply i gave. We were talking about Islamic terrorism, its global negative reputation and how good muslims need to take action or raise their voices against extremists who commit terrorism. But then you shifted the topic to what your German neighbors, friends and colleagues think about Hindus/Muslims or India/Pakistan.

First of all, i dont understand how or why Hindus or even India, came into this conversation when we were specifically discussing Islamic extremists and the role of good or bad Muslims.

Secondly, Hindus are not terrorists, so please dont lump Hindus and Muslims into the same category. Yes, we do have some extremists here and there, every religion does but they dont go around committing terror attacks on innocent people in the name of God. Hinduism absolutely does not support forceful conversions, let alone killing innocents for the sake of religion. Even if my God were to tell me to kill innocent people, i would refuse and even stop worshipping Him. Thankfully, my religion does not teach or command such things.

Hinduism gives me free will, to believe in God or not, to question him. These freedoms are inherent in my faith. So please dont compare good or bad Hindus with Muslims in this context.

Also, India does not have terrorist groups at all. Pakistan, on the other hand, openly harbors and supports state sponsored terrorism. India has been a victim of Pakistani terrorism for decades so on that point as well, you are completely mistaken.

Im aware that India’s reputation in the West isnt exactly great but trust me, its nowhere near as bad as the reputation of Pakistan or Muslims in general. I know for a fact that many Pakistani Muslims feel so ashamed of their nationality that they claim to be Indian when doing business abroad. That alone says something about the difference in reputation.

So lets stick to the original topic, Islamic terrorism, Islamic extremists and what good Muslims can do to reform their religion and project a more positive image globally.

Their plan is clear, they are waiting for us to strike so they can put blame

Wonder if some US citizen is there in that plane or Chinese, they will get an easy way to attack India

We can't pressurise govt now because govt already had it in its mind since long. The long work for Pakistan was started in 2014. It will be culminated now.

I don't think Indian army will attack commercial planes. It must be planning something big.

I know this already. Already shared my exact same views sometime back.
