Those poor Manipuris aren’t getting any help from Modi despite the senseless violence not too long ago. He’s too busy interfering in international affairs.

Why is Modi not focusing on providing these poor people some sense of normalcy? Are they not Indian citizens? This has gone on for months!

But you are missing the point. Only the Modi bhakt critique of every other race, religion, and cast is valid. Nothing or nobody that criticizes Modi holds any weight. Congress is clearly just upset they keep losing elections.

Was this sub-forum created for BWF users? Eighty-eight pages of content, especially from BWF?

Incoherent thought tangents ahead.

Israeli and Palestinian civilians both deserve to live with dignity and humanity, free from terrorism and violence. But is that really feasible? Can there be an everlasting and peaceful two-state solution? The crux of the matter is land that each side believes is rightfully theirs. Is there a way to divide the land where both sides feel equitably treated (or perhaps both sides feel equitably mistreated more like it?)

And even if we find a solution where the land is equitably distributed, the big question is, can peace last? The region has seen war and strife for decades. There are people on both sides who have lost loved ones to Hamas or the IDF. Can we trust that these people will be able to forgive, forget, and move on - or will human nature stir feelings of vengeance and vendetta that will keep us stuck on this ride of violence forever? How many times in our lifetime have we seen this exact same story play out?

For all intents and purposes, modern violence dates back to British occupation and mandate. Is there any region in the world the British didn't fcuk up? They really left a big stinking pile of bullshit with India and Pakistan too. But violence in this region dates back to BC as the Caananites conflicted with the Philistines. How far back do you go, right? We'd have to reset the universe to the big bang, and we might still emerge fcuked up in a different way. Or perhaps humans wouldn't even exist, which would be great.

But there has been peace in the region. Notably under British occupation and the Ottoman Turk empire. So, is the solution third-party administration? Should the region be taken over and handed to a third party? And if so who? The UN? The imperialist pro-Zionist US and UK? The problematic pro-Islamic Arab nations? A council of both.

Here is my imperfect and impossible solution.

First ceasefire. Second, dissolve Israel and Palestine. Divide the region into equitable parcels based on population density. Each parcel elects a local governing body. Multiple parcels come together to form a county that elects its governing body. Multiple counties come together to form a state that elects its governing body. Governing heads of each state report to the central council. The central council is a team of five random diplomats. Each country in the UN throws its name in a hat, and five names are drawn at random every two years. These five nations send five diplomats to govern the region and are responsible for the military and police. However, the UN Security Council has to fund the military and police. Cause we can't expect states like Malta, Fiji, Djibouti, etc to pay for peace in other countries when they probably have their own shit to deal with.

Imperfect because I know someone will find many flaws. Impossible because I know how Indians and Pakistanis would reach if we did this to Kashmir.

So, the only hope really is that an asteroid comes in and wipes out that part of the world. But that would be cruel and sadistic. That is why I think the only hope we have is an extinction-level asteroid that wipes humanity off Earth. Or maybe an alien invasion.

I agree with you mostly. But despite deeply condemning Hamas for their actions on October 7th. Would you not agree as a whole Israel is the far more powerful state? It has been the aggressor against a very powerless group of people? The entire world condemned the gross violence that occurred by Hamas on October 7th. But there has been a double standard, especially from Western leaders about the daily violence that occurred afterward by the IDF. Even Western leaders like Obama are justifying it by saying that as a response to October 7th, it is perfectly understandable that the people of Israel demand that its government do whatever it takes to root out Hamas. That was wrong on so many levels. Not only is collective punishment wrong. But not everyone in Israel condones this level of inhumane violence. Or else people wouldn't be protesting in Israel to oust Benjamin Netanyahu from power right now.

Not to mention the years and years of violence perpetrated by Israel on Palestine before October 7th. Would be okay if the government of Palestine had received support from all its allies to collectively bomb Israel as a response? So it never occurs again? I do not feel western leaders even take the time to think over some of the insensitive statements they are making?

Could that be the West Bank that one is describing? smiley4

"All extremist/terror acts are followed by an act of 'humanity.' The former act is ignored, or defended with claims that it has nothing to do with reIigion, while the latter is glorified as a virtue earned through reIigious beliefs. Eg.

Rioting over alleged bIasphemy has no reIigion, but forming a human chain to save a temple from same rioters does.

KiIIing 1300 people while shouting reIigious slogans has no reIigion, but sparing the lives of 2 does."

So what's new?

So will the terror state of Israel follow it terrorism with an act of humanity after killing over 2000 children in cold blood?
