9:19am Samuel Badree and Shakera Selman at the pitch report. Bright and sunny, cloudless blue skies. The square boundaries at 65 meter from each end, the cover and midwicket 74 and 75m from the broadcast end. Dark and hard pitch, there may be a bit of moisture in it. The grass on the surface is quite dry.

9:12am Shubman Gill "Not very satisfied with how things have gone on this tour for me. But I have been batting well. It's about the mental resilience and about converting starts into a big one. [Dismissal in the second ODI] it was a case of not executing well. I could have hit over covers than long-off. It was time to step on the accelerator - the mindset was to get towards 270. Not easy for any middle order batter to rotate strike in these conditions. West Indies bowlers have done well and bowled in tight areas. Hopefully we'll be able to turn this around and win the series."

Having a bad feeling now

In fact , ours is a strong batting line up, so it is always better to bat first.

Sagar: "Fair enough from India. Leading into 2019 WC, India was winning every series but was not focused on tinkering with the combinations. Rishabh Pant did not feature in ODIs prior to that WC but found himself playing the latter games of WC wherein he did not get enough batting time. India has only this series to experiment."

India vs West Indies Live Score: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli rested again as West Indies opt to bowl against India

India are gearing up for a high-stakes ODI series decider against the West Indies, with all eyes on the experimental middle-order combination of Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav. After suffering a six-wicket loss in the second game in Barbados, India are hoping that this new lineup will prove effective in clinching victory in the series.

Garv Asnani: "It's surprising to see Chahal not given a chance in all 3 ODIs while every other player has gotten at least one game. He could have replaced Axar today as Pandya is already bowling as the 3rd pacer." Yep, strange India did not play Chahal in the series. We could probably see him start in the T20Is.

PITCH REPORT: We are almost at the centre of the ground. The square dimensions are 65 metres and down the ground it is around 74 metres. The surface is quite dry, there is no live grass. We had some high-scoring domestic games recently. All in all, expect an exciting contest, reckon Samuel Badree and Shakera Selman.

First ODI in ten years for Jaydev Unadkat, who last played in 2013 against West Indies in Kochi.

9:06am First ODI in ten years for Unadkat, who last played in 2013 against West Indies! Both Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav keep their places in the XI. Interesting to see if Gaikwad opens the batting or if he will come in at No. 3. West Indies, no surprises, decided to not tinker with the winning combo.
