It's good to see Colors perspective on the issue because previously I blamed the channel for whatever happened to the show.

No channel would accept tantrums or a breach of contract. Not even the channel which Kapil is apparently joining. Star Flush is even more brutal about contract violation.

He cannot sail in two boats. If he wants a career in Bollywood then I think Kapil should give full attention to that only.

It's a loss loss situation for Colors anyways. They made him a star but couldn't handle his starry tantrums.

Colours already have CNWK.They were not required to start another show on the same channel with same format. If it's on a different channel and they are copying kapil's show that would be a different thing. Kapil did a good thing by quitting the channel. Other channels would invite him and his team with open arms

I don't find Kapil in the wrong.. He had been complaining about the money for ages since he felt Colors was using the money his show brought in to fund other shows including BB..

And why should he want to promote a competitor on the channel by binding guests who pay to come on his show, to go to another show ..

For someone who was pushing for a break and then settled for just one episode per weekend, I don't think he would have said his is to be the only comic show on the channel, especially since by that time, his show was no longer high in TRPs and he wouldn't have had any say in the matter..
