I too showed the article and the video to my mother...she didn't laugh but was actually annoyed at the makers. And she outright said that if ACP Pradyuman is being replaced, she will just quit watching the show. (And so will I)

I sincerely, truly, genuinely and with all my heart wish that this move of theirs backfires royally...

If these makers really believe that Parth is suitable as the ACP and that him replacing SS as ACP is a smart move then they need to lie on their sides to let the water in their heads flow out of their ears and go for an MRI/CT scan immediately.

My mother found it absolutely absurd but she didn't laugh... Instead she got angry seeing the two senior actors playing as his subordinates.

Obviously there's no CID without SS... He is the backbone of the show.

Vahe I mean sorry but for me he is failing as avni fails to potray as cid cops while both of them were good in their previous shows if I am not wrong avni played villian in her previous show yha at times she is flat even today too while parth I really don't know what to say but some where down the line his casting makes me believe more strongly that there is much more to this

Exactly what we all have been saying all this while. Parth as an actor doesn't have that personality, that charisma fit for a team leader. If they want a replacement ACP, they should have brought in a senior actor, someone who is fit for the role of a leader, of the head.

Bold: Ex-freaking-actly!!! These two have been senior officers for 20+ years and they haven't received a single bloody promotion all these years? How does that make sense?? Plus they bring in an even younger actor to play their boss?? What even is this?

he is almost two decade younger to both of them what were they smoking ?

matlab yr acting is give and take until and unless actor in front of you is not up to the mark how will scene come out Parth is a good actor but here he is failing and i really doubt he would able to make it IF it is for long run

Alright... I'm talking about it as if he is a temporary entry and ACP Pradyuman is coming back.

First, they should have chosen a senior actor, if not promoting Abhijeet or Daya.

And even if they had to bring in a younger actor as the ACP, at the very least they could have brought in an actor who can actually act. Someone who actually has that charisma and persona to carry out the role of the leader of a team like CID...
