Same dilemma here. Plus, I'm not sure I even get this channel here. If i do, I think I'll try at least a couple of episodes, just because of the actors. Then we can decide whether to continue or not.

I don't think that's going to work out at all. It's Sony who ruined it. They might have just said that to temporarily douse the fire.

Even I don't get this Dangal channel. I hope it's available online. 😳

This might come true after all. TI saw this in the headlines in India TV's Saas-Bahu entertainment time. (Sorry, I don't know what the show is called)

Very unlikely that CID and Fireworks are coming back together to work on a show like CID. Essentially, the idea of CID has disbanded permanently. Yea, I have heard that Daya Shetty, Ansha Syed and Aditya Shrivastava have joined some similar show, but like others have mentioned, it wouldn't be the same show. They might not even have the same character names, who knows. There's videos of Daya shooting on this show though (on Twitter), so it's probably legit. I do know, however, that Shridhar Raghuvan just worked on a web show on Hotstar (worth a watch), while Christabelle D'Souza, Santosh Shetty and BP Singh are working on a web show on Zee5 NOT under the banner of FW (which is a complete 360 from CID, since it is really, really dark and gritty). Also, BP Singh is now the director of FTII, so chances of CID as a show coming back is a steep hill.

I'm not sure if this is going to be a cop show. The part I heard on the news says that it will have personal stories of the characters. I didn't hear anything about it being a cop show. Who knows

even if Adi-Daya re there they wouldn't be Abhi-Daya so its not reaally that appealing

Still if its available online I will give it a try

Chalo at-least we now have all the old episodes which we can re-watch

there are many episodes worth re-watching even in the new era

I feel especially the 2017 episodes which sab is showing these days are good

I am enjoying watching the episodes again from Sab and also from the drives because I had stopped watching after 2013

I think the show is real. I saw photos on FB a few days ago where Aditya sir and Daya sir were in different costumes and the caption was "coming back soon" or something like that. I'll see if I can find them again and share them here.

As for BP Singh sir bringing the show back on Sony, I think that was going to be a lower budget show with new actors, if it ever happens.

Personally I don't know if I'm going to watch this new show either. I get that our duo will be back, but they won't really be the duo and this won't really be CID.

Found it. At that time I thought it was some episodic in a show so didn't share. But now that we have news of a new show, this all makes more sense.
