Yes the cast has confirmed but if u people read the article properly Daya sir mentioned that "We were shooting as usually" "I will miss the character" "we will miss wach other" "its our second home" look at his desperation of doing CID till now after 21 years...every member of team is upset due to the decision of Sonytv...the team which has given their 21 yrs to us to channel...
We knew that its diffucult to convince channel but not impossible...and we will try to do it till the last hope...and if not able to save it then demand for a proper tribute...only what is required by CIDIANS from the forum is some support...but we are not getting it no worries...CID forum has stopped supported CID long time ago...but plz its a request if u can't help dont make it difficult for us...don't give sonytv more reasons to stop CID where they can give the reference of your kind comments to close the CID is good...move on and whatever...let us try and if u all can't support u all have no right to spoil our efforts too.. thanks a lot and sorry for expecting much from u all...
See, I do respect your feelings. But I personally think it's useless to make any petitions to this useless channel Sony. I don't mind CID ending. I mean they have entertained it so many years. They are no more than family to me, us & everyone. But for me, they have played their glorious innings. We the old followers of CID know how the episode quality is not upto the mark. It doesn't involve us or at lease me like earlier & it's nothing like earlier. So it's better to end when we are asking 'why' instead of 'when'.
And forget all these creative reasons. Even if you think practically, what's the use of these petitions? Have these useless people (Sony) heard any of our petition? They continue this ill treatment with CID and discontinue the show whenever they find some good show or they don't give it proper time slot. Do you want them to continue in such degrading atmosphere? What Sony is doing is pure insult of their most important show & enough is enough now. Let CID retire gloriously & let Sony Die. At least the main Sony Channel is becoming dead rubber now.
Speaking about the show, Dayanand Shetty told
The Times Of India, "We were in our 21st year and had we shot for a few more episodes, we would have entered our 22nd year. It is quite an unfortunate thing to happen as we were shooting like always and suddenly we were informed by our producer that the shooting has been called off indefinitely because there were issues with the channel."
Tell me, you want them (CID) to continue with this treatment from Sony?
Instead of requesting Sony to continue CID, we can instead demand them proper farewell or tribute to CID.
