Okay so given that CID isn't airing this weekend either I came up with a theory regarding Sony's newest offerings and what may happen to CID based on what I've been reading.

Adaalat - Season 2 will be back soon. Probably in June after IPL is over.

Dance Reality Show - A new dance reality show will be airing on Sony soon as well. Probably June as well.

CID - So as per some rumours, CID's timing is about to be changed along with cast and other changes.

The Kapil Sharma Show - A 1.5 hour show that airs on Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM.

Given all this I think in the coming months we can see the following:

Saturday and Sunday

8 PM - Adaalat

9 PM - The Kapil Sharma Show

10:30 PM - Crime Patrol

Friday

8 PM - Dance Reality Show

10 PM - CID

Now that's just my theory. Feel free to comment on this or share your own theories. I don't think they'll do away with CID just yet. Though I do feel they'll make it a weekly show again. I don't know why. I just do.

cannot say what sony channel is upto! but side lining the show that has fetched them trp in their bad days, is really unpleasant and ungrateful of them!

If it will be the schedule, it's looking fine. Cid will be back on Friday & will become weekly again as before.

But the way sony is behaving with CID & sidelining it, is completely wrong & unacceptable! The worst channel it is. That's why sony is not in the Top rank anymore.😡 😡

you could be right. I understand Kapil's show is 26 episodes (13 weeks). if that is the case, will sony start showing CID on saturdays and sundays once again !!! OR bring new shows at weekends??

also to bear in mind kapil's show being shown 3 times in the evening, channel will have to fill in 4.1/2 hrs on saturdays and sundays.

^ Woah! No way. I don't think Sony would do that. TKSS is probably their show to pull them back up. They can't just end it after 26 episodes.

if suryaputra karn ends in May, then 30 min. slot to be filled at weekends.

would not be surprised if sony airs CID 30 mins episodes twice a week??!!!! on saturday - to be continued... 😆

^In SBS segment reporter said that Sony have given 3months to TKSS. If show failed to get TRPs in 3 months show will go on seasonal break.

I've been die hard fan of CID since the beginning. I saw Parth briefly in KZK2 where I thought he was okayish. But damn... him in CID as current...
