During a candid interview with Sub Inspector, Jaywanti Shinde essayed by Tanya Abrol in the series, CID she states that logically, Abhijeet is the smartest investigator on the set. Aditya Srivastava is the senior inspector of the team CID played by Abhijeet.

On CID reaching 18 years, Abhijeet adds, "I feel blessed for being the part of magnificent and great show and the credit goes to audiences..."
