Team Silver Trio

Very well said, Himani.

Unfortunately, all available evidence points towards them actively ignoring those alarm bells. Case in point - stopping re-runs of the Golden era episodes and greatly reducing even 2006-09 cases in favour of very recent ones, and then explanations that the current writers are the best and what not. I guess the audience after seeing older episodes can very easily know what the truth is.

They lost amazing actors like Vivek sir, Rajat sir and Tasha due to this same mistake - overcrowding the team and sidelining deserving people in favour of others. All I see is very short-sighted planning hoping for quick TRPs. For the life of me, I don't understand what's the purpose of the lampies in the show at least. And even more saddening is the way they talked about the trio in some recent interviews, and the way a veteran senior like Freddy sir is treated nowadays. Maybe I'm being superstitious, but I believe respecting seniors is the first necessary step in making any endeavour succeed.

I just want one good episode a week with the famous five, Sachin sir and Purvi in proper roles. It's futilely hoping for something even close to that that I continue to watch the show.

@ Bold: I believe respecting everyone is important, not just seniors. But I agree with you. Respect is the first necessary step.

Very true. The way the aforementioned people were sidelined despite their contributions is equally hurtful. But I can imagine few things more appalling than hinting that the men who've been pillars of the show for 17+ years are apparently not good enough for the audiences anymore.

I sympathize with ya Himani...👍🏼
Summarizing the remonstrance in few words...🥱

An outcry over Ignorance without ebbing

Razing the entire charm to the ground

Mutilating our emotions in a twinkling

Becoming reconciled to the runaround

Amorous Entanglement forges sharp blow

A crime serial becomes a romantic show
