Scene: A bungalow
Early morning a servant comes and finds the door open. He picks up the newspaper and milk and walks in. He makes coffee and comes to to give it to his employer who seems fast asleep on a chair. But to his shock the employer is dead. He is covered with a towel as if he's in a haircutting saloon. His hair is partly cut and the strands of hair are fallen all over the towel. The scissors used to cut his hair have been used to pierce his chest.
Scene: Daya's house
Daya is sitting and having breakfast, which includes a glass of milk 😛 Freddie barges in and complains about how his wife was asking him to lose weight. Daya is about to give him tips when his phone rings and someone tells him about the murder.
Scene: Murder spot
ACP, Freddie, Rajat and Pankaj reach the spot. CID team also finds a greyish powder on the dead man's neck. The CID team questions the servant, who says that his employer was a money lender, it was unusual for Kumar to call the barber to his house at midnight for a hair cut and that he normally went to a particular saloon on the 5th of every month for a hair cut. The barber is called to the bureau.
Scene : Bureau
ACP and Abhijeet question the barber Sundar. He says that at the time of murder he had gone to watch a movie at a mall. ACP asks Purvi to check the CCTV footage of the mall to check if Sundar had sneaked out during the interval.
Sachin walks in saying that another man in Bandra has been murdered in the same way with a pair of scissors and the body has been sent to the forensic lab.
Scene: Lab
Salunkhe says that the grey powder on the victims' necks were the ashes of 2 dead humans and that there were no fingerprints on any of the objects found at the murder spot, including the scissors.
The DNA of the ashes indicated that the 2 men were related - brothers or father and son.
Rajat gets a call that a man with a pair of scissors had kidnapped a woman's husband from a parking lot. ACP concludes that this kidnapper is the same saloon killer who has killed the other 2 men.
Scene: Parking lot
The lady tells Daya that her husband was coming out of his car when an unknown man pounced on him, rendered him unconscious with a kerchief and took him away. She had tried to save him, but the kidnapper had attacked her with scissors.
Daya, Shreya and Sachin look around and Sachin finds the kerchief which had a strong odour of chloroform. Sachin mentions the 'saloon killer' in front of her. 😵 The woman gets tensed. Daya asks her if she had noticed the number of the car in which the kidnappers had taken her husband. She says that the number plate was covered but there was a sticker saying 'Q One', which Shreya recognises as a store which sold car stereos.
Scene : Q One music store
Abhijeet, Rajat and Pankaj get the list of 4 'Lescot' cars where the store had installed music systems. Abhijeet asks Pankaj to trace the owners of the 4 cars.
Scene : Narrow street
Daya, Nikhil and Pankaj apparently checked 3 of the addresses, but found nothing suspicious. They reach the last address. The house is locked.
They ask the neighbour about Sumukh - on whose name the car was registered. The neighbour says that Sumukh and his father perished in a fire accident in their house at midnight.
The neighbours are surprised to hear that there's a car registered in Sumukh's name because Sumukh was lame and couldn't have driven a car.
Daya, Nikhil and Pankaj break into the house. Daya finds a connection between the ashes Salunkhe had found on the dead bodies'necks (which belonged to two genetically related men) and Sumukh and his father dying in a fire accident(or suicide) Daya asks Pankaj and Nikhil to pick strands of hair, toothbrushes etc, so that the DNA of the ashes could be matched with Sumukh and his father.
During the course of the search Pankaj finds the acknowledgement for a loan application which Sumukh had submitted to Golden finance company.
Scene: Lab
Tarika says that the ashes on the dead bodies' necks matched with the DNA of Sumukh and his father. ACP concludes that the killer was a friend of Sumukh.
Rajat wonders why the killer had killed Parth and Kumar but kidnapped Madhusudhan.
At that time Daya phones ACP about the loan application.
Scene : Golden finance company
ACP, Rajat and Freddie talk to the receptionist who tells them that the compamy owner Raghuveer had gone to attend the funeral of Parth who was a partner in the company. (The same Parth whom the Saloon killer killed)
Scene : Parth's house
Daya, Nikhil and Pankaj talk to Raghuveer at the funeral. Daya asks Raghuveer if he had heard of Kumar or Madhusudhan. Raghuveer says that he had not heard of any such name. Daya asks if he had heard of Sumukh. Raghuveer says that Sumukh had applied for a loan of Rs 25 lakh but Parth had rejected the loan application.
Daya thinks that this Sumukh may have asked Kumar and Madhusudhan for loan and asks for the colleagues and relatives of Kumar and Madhusudhan to be brought to the bureau.
Scene : Bureau
Madhusudhan's wife says that her husband used to lend money to small businesses.
Kumar's colleagues say that Sumukh had applied for a loan but Kumar had rejected the loan application.
Scene : Sumukh's house
Daya asks the owner of the house about Sumukh and why she had not taken any id proof from her tenants. She rightly says that the poor cannot provide such id proofs.
A neighbour says that 3 days before their death Sumukh and his father had an argument and Sumukh was asking his father to sign on a paper (probably loan application)
Scene : Bureau
ACP, Abhijeet and Sachin discuss the case. Abhijeet gets a call that the car in which Madhusudhan was kidnapped was found near Gomti nagar chawl.
Scene : Gomti Nagar
Rajat, Freddie and Pankaj stop the qualis and go walking. Someone deflates the tyre of the qualis. CID team hears gunshots. The 3 of them rush towards the direction from where the gunshots were heard. They see someone escaping in the same car which was used for kidnapping Madhusudhan. CID team finds to wounded men of whom one was alive. Rajat asks Freddie to take care of him and rushes to the qualis, but finds the tyre deflated. Rajat talks to the wounded man who says that their boss was someone named Lucky and he has been kidnapped. He also says something about his accountant. But before he says anything more he collapses. Rajat rushes him to the hospital.
Scene : Hospital
ACP requests the doc to do something and make the guy conscious. The doc gives a shock and the guy regains consciousness for a few secinds.
The guy says that Sumukh's 'ghost' had shot at him and kidnapped Lucky...and that Lucky was the one who had killed Sumukh.

The guy is taken to the operation theatre.
ACP asks his team to arrest the accountant.
Scene : Street
Rajat and Nikhil chase and catch the accountant.
Rajat asks him about Sumukh. The accountant says that Sumukh had taken a loan of 25 lakh from Lucky and couldn't repay it, so Lucky had got him and his father killed.
Rajat tells the accountant that the lame Sumukh was murdering people and has kidnapped Madhusudhan. The accountant says that Sumukh didn't have any disability. Rajat and Nikhil are surprised and ask the accountant if he had any information on the fake Sumukh. The accountant gives the address which turns out to be the same chawl where Sumukh and his father were killed. The accountant gives a new address where Sumukh was planning to open a shop. Rajat decides to go to the shop address.
Scene : A saloon
A barber had tied two men(Madhusudhan and Lucky) to chairs and was cutting their hair. The two of them confess having killed the barber's father and ask him to let them go in return for money.
They show the barber's face and it is none other than Sunny, one of Sumukh's neighbours whom Daya had interrogated near Sumukh' s house.
Sunny scolds Madhusudhan for not approving the loan and killing an innocent lame man and his father.
Lucky asks him how he had escaped alive. Sunny reveals that the dead Sumukh was in fact his younger brother.
Sunny is about to kill Lucky when Abhijeet arrives on the spot and stops him.
Sunny confesses that his father had cut him off because he didn't approve of his saloon idea. His father and brother went to live in the chawl and Sunny had followed him there and lived nearby. His loan was not approved by finance companies, so he took a loan from the gunda Lucky and opened his saloon. He had delayed in payment of one installment, so Lucky sent gundas to his father's house and burnt his father and brother alive, assuming it to be Sunny.
(Sunny here is the real Sumukh and the handicapped Sumukh is his brother)
Abhijeet says he would get phaansi for this. Lucky and Madhusudhan also would get phaansi for murdering 2 men.
