I've only seen him play the gangster in Slumdog Millionaire... I think he's pretty OK but really, there are so many better choices for playing a dangerous arch-villain! Anyway, looking forward to see what his performance is like.

Mahesh Manjrekar is a good actor. I have seen his work in marathi serials and films, he is wonderful. He is a director himself, has directed Vaastav. BUT I have rarely seen him do a good job in hindi films. I don't know I can't picture him as an International don. Naah he does not that thing in him.

Yeah... He is definitely a good Actor.... As Prabha di mentioned he has done the job of direction in Marathi films and recently one of his directed film was a big hit in Maharashtra...

Yeh I think his performance in Slumdog is great too, but somehow I too didn't imagine him in the role of the kind of Don shown in the promo. But I hope he does it well, he's talented and experienced after all. 😊

I have only seen Kante, there were so many actors in so I didn't focused on his acting particularly. But yes I think he can do a role if villian who is mad, lost his brain and keeps on laughing to make people hate or fear that character. Don't know how he will do justice to role (if he is doing), but I seriously ant a strong actor for Don don't want any joker.

Mahesh Manjrekar is a very nice actor !!! Don't know why I strongly feel he'll do very well !! I really like his acting !! I feel he'll do very well !!! waise bhi series bakwaas chal raha hai toh if he very good then great !! otherwise chal hi raha tha !!!

As I know Mahesh Majarekar very well saw his lots of perfromance on stage of stage in Marathi.Even saw some hindi serial I think Monika Magare case files serial usd to aired on Zee TV last year.He had played serial killer who killes ladies.he have done good job there. we can expect good perfromanace but it is also depend on Director and writer and editor how they show the don.Nahai to bhI Machali jal ki raani hein bolega...FW fev gaana😆I am qite positive about him.

Aah. Such an awesome news. CID got the perfect man for playing HD. Mahesh Manjrekar is one kind or actor, what is very rare todays film industries. Watching him playing International Don Harpis Dongaru, would be an extraoridinary experience. Many of here can make complain about his choice. But that doesn't bother actually. He is best for fit in this role. He is versatile, experienced and intelligent actor. You don't have to be Shark or Croc for giving an instance role. And I think thats why Fireworks made this choice.

This time I am 100% agree with Fireworks.

Hmm I think this part is influence with the role he did in Dabangg which is making it difficult for me to picture him as an International Don.

Yeah we see these people in a completely different role in other serials/pictures so our mind disagrees with the a new role of that person.... I had the same feeling when I came to know that Daya to play a "Mafia" type role in GG... That was a little difficult for me to digest.... But at the end I accepted that role of his...

These are ace Actors.... Fit in every role.... Give their 100%... So I am sure Mahesh sir wont disappoint you all... I can guarantee this....
