😊 Just see the number of IFs in our posts. I will tell you why Abhijit-Shruti Story left the impact it did. That story had a running time of about 30 minutes scattered over 4 cases. It had a definite beginning and a proper end. Every new character was properly introduced and we were told where they came from. In half an hour the story was complete, if that had not been the case I am sure this track would have joined the list of badly projected personal relationships in CID. Apart from that a lot of credit goes to the actress who played Shruti, a case of perfect casting. She was mature, a mother, still in shock of her husband's death with no support system, she played her part very well. She matched Abhi Sir in every way unlike Madam T. Also because of the way her character was built (she did not appear from thin air), creatives could not take silly liberties with her and everything fell in place.
