In the episode, KILLER IN THE JUNGLE , the scene where CID team takes Shashank's wife to the morgue to identify the dead body, the expressions on the faces of Abhijeet and Daya show how much they hate going through this. But DUTY is DUTY...they cant help it.

Also, there was an episode ( cant recall the name right now)....there was a scene where Daya and Abhi are in the carand they were going to the shop where they need to inform the father about his son's death.... Daya says : "Bas yehi kaam reh gaya hai humara. Mujhse nahi hoga...Tu kehna"

and ABhi gives a helpless expression!😭

Hm. Today while watch some old CID videos, I realised that the Trio act really well when it comes to such scenes!! Of course others like Asha and Freddy are really good! Sometimes through their acting, their true naturalness comes out... I wish Indian Police system had officers like them!!!

Yes I have a big problem with the love life being shown in the show mainly because its got nothing to do with investigation and solving mysteries. I don't see how its going to do any value addition to the show called CID - CID INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT.

In India froums I have hardly seen anyone discussing about the aspect of investigation. All we talk about is Abhijeet-Daya pairing, less screen space alloted to Abhijeet or Daya or anything always associated with them. At that time we forget the title" CRIME INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT". Seldom do we talk about the other characters. Far from talking about the angle of investigation, we recollect the scenes where Abhijeet or Daya was shot and we start mourning on it, the scenes where The trio sang. Rather than the investigating side all of us are attached to the the emotional perspective of the show. Frankly speaking I do love crime based stories but CID is very special to me because of its cast. So I really wish their personal life to be shown. It can be shown very subtly in the background and some cases can be interlinked with this.

@abhijeetdaya I agree with what you say to some extent. But in all these years, going by track record, you can see how badly relationships are shown in CID. Daya Sir's girl friends are introduced only for drama be it Sonali in 2004 or be it Madam P in 2010. Abhi-Taarika flirting turned into such a sick track, I just hated it. Even if Abhi Sir said "Taarika ji" I felt like breaking the TV set. Forensic lab became a love point and just lost all the seriousness, Abhi Sir was fast turning into a Roadside Romeo, the "peechhe pad gaya" types rather than a cop while Madam T isn't responding to him at all. Freddie is married and refers to his wife but just see how the wife's character is represented. It makes me sick. When you say you would like it IF they show it subtly, that 'IF' is a really big one and I have no faith. The truth is that Fireworks never handled love relationships with dignity in the show. Infact it has been portrayed so badly, so pathetically that I feel we are better off without them. They have ruined it totally and forever as far as I am concerned, now I just finch at the thought itself and I just hate the idea.
