"I was naughty!! How do you think I played a prank on you.." Radhika said.

"Yeah, I would've never guessed you played a prank on me if you hadn't told me..it may be hard for you, living alone.." Dev said.

"It is hard you know, never in my life I have lived alone since.." she stopped but then continued "since I left my house..."

"you wouldn't tell me why, right??"

She looked down and replied "even if I want to..."

"I think you live a hard life, right??"

"Worst is appropriate..."

"you know what Mysty, one think I liked rather love about you is your courage...even though villagers despised you, treated you worst but you never let it affect you...you stood up for yourself...and maybe you have good reasons for leaving your house..."

"Thank you but it's not hard anymore, you are a very good company, I'm glad you still stick with me..."

"I will forever.."

"only time will tell, nobody stays forever...my both parents left me in this hell.."

"I didn't mean death won't separate us but as long as I'm alive, I will stick with you, you like it or not..."

"even if you got to know that I'm a criminal or something??"

"still my answer would be yes, and you criminal?? I don't think a kind person like you ever be a criminal, Mysty even though how hard you try to change my opinion about you, I would never ever find you a bad person, the reason I never find you bad is because I know you are kind, I have seen it in your eyes, your innocence...you want to know why I never believed your bluff about your cursed face, because of your eyes, it is part of your face, why it doesn't cast any spell on me...more than hundred times I have looked at your eyes but I never got vanished or what so ever happens...that's why I never believed and I know you are innocent soul not a...oh come on, I didn't mean to hurt you...Mysty??"

"I'm..not...oh, I'm sorry..." Radhika said and went into a room and closed the door.

Dev knocked the door, almost banged it loudly and spoke while consoling her.

"Mysty, I never wanted to hurt you...please don't cry, I'm sorry, honey...please open the door...honey, please..."

"I'm...not...I'm not hurt...Just...go...go Dev..."

"Not this time, honey...I won't go, not until you tell me why are you crying...you have to tell me"

"why are...you so...stubborn??" she shouted.

"I have to...please honey, just this one time, for my sake...please??"

He waited for her reply, but got only silence until the door opened and she flew in his arms. He gathered her in his arms, holding her tightly while she cried in his arms. Without breaking the hug, he took steps inside the room until he sat on the bed and brought her in his lap. He caressed her head and back, relaxing her body, till he found her leaning on him, clutching his shirt. With his hands constantly caressing her back, comforting, she wasn't able to hold her emotions. She cried in his arms, emotions she had kept and wrapped in her heart flowed through her eyes.

She sat there, still crying, feeling his arms caressing her own, comforting her with just gentle touches. It had been long since someone held her like this other than Raj. Both didn't say any words, the sound which came was only her cry, and sniffs until her voice was heard, too soft more like a whisper.

"wrong..." she sniffed again and spoke a little louder but still soft "you...are...wrong"

"In what way, honey??" he asked carefully and gently.

"I...am...not innocent nor...brave...I let...him...I let him...do it...I never...stopped him...I was coward...still I am...I let...them in...front of my...eyes...those...horror filled...eyes...I would...never forget...they...haunt me Dev...in my dreams...I don't want to dream...I am afraid, afraid..Dev"

Nothing made sense to Dev, except that someone has harmed her. He had never found anyone devastated like her, he always felt that there was something wrong in her, something wrong has happened to her, now he think, no he knew, there is something wrong happened to her. It is a male who has done harm, but what would he had done to such a poor girl, abuse??

I let...him...do...it...I never...stopped him...

Do what? Abuse? Rape?

I let...them in...front of my...eyes...those...horror filled...eyes...I would...never forget...they...haunt me Dev...in my dreams...I don't want to dream...

Who them? her relatives, someone related to her?

He let out a sigh when nothing made sense to him, which brought Radhika back to the reality, her hands loosen her grip and looked up instantly at his soft metallic eyes. His strawberry colored lips curled into a small smile while his hand cupped her cheek.

"Who says I'm wrong? Everything you said only clarified my doubt, I don't know what happened to you except that I know that something bad has happened to you...You are wrong in thinking that you are not brave, you are brave honey or how do you think you have survived after what happened to you, you even left your house, not everyone have much guts to leave their house and live alone, and how can I forget your bravery on playing prank on me and fighting with me...you weren't afraid of me, were you?? a size like me, were you??"

"you weren't harmful just stubborn.."

He chuckled "never knew I had a trait like that, now that you have told me, you must also admit you have trait of bravery, no arguments honey..."

She looked down and replied "since you say so, I'll admit..."

"Not like that, I want you to say it confidently and with a pretty big smile..."

"I am brave..."

"How unlucky of me, I can't even see your smile, I wish I could..."

I wish you could was all she said when she stood up.

"I'm sorry just because of me, you..."

"Don't bother, honey, that's what friends are for, you can always count on me, right??"

"right...you must leave now before your father get worried about you!!"

"Nah, my father doesn't but I don't know these days he gets worried whenever I got late for even a short time..."

"That's what parents do!! Now go!!"

"Why do I get a feeling you don't want me here??"

"Now don't try to blackmail, get up..." She pulled him upward. He pulled her towards him, she fell on him. Both fell on the bed while Dev mischievously rolled over and fell on top of her. After few moments she got over from the shock and realized him laughing.

"YOU!!! Why did you do that??"

"Why do you think??" he spoke in a husky voice while scanning her face.

"What...what do..you mean??"

He stretched upward and kissed her eye and moved back to look at her closed eyes. She opened her eyes and got lost in those intoxicated metallic eyes filled with passion.

"Thanks for trusting me, Honey"

She felt his arms losing then completely leaving her, she sat up still in a shock and looked at his smiling face. He winked at her and bid his goodbye giving her another shock. She just looked at him going away from her room.

"Found her.." Arjun spoke while Purab looked at him shockingly.

"Where?? How did you??"

"Didn't I told you to never question my ability...She is in this village..."

"But I have never seen her even once, she can't be missed in the crowd, a face like her..."

"it's because she hides her face, have you seen the girl who is wearing black cloth on her face even body..."

"but I've heard she has a cursed face that's...bloody hell, you don't think it's her..."

"Think?? I know, can never forget her eyes, those pretty enormous hazel eyes and her sweet voice..."

"You came in front of her, she can.."

"you think I'm fool, I have disguised myself before I met her..."

"so when are we going to kill..."

"not now, soon..."

"but when.."

"will tell you when the time will come..."

"You are not bound to die, you are bound to be mine, I will make you mine...only one person will die and it will be the one who is with you, that guy called Dev..i would never tolerate any other person touching you...Only I have that right, you belong to me, Radhika, you are mine!!"

"Release me!!" Dev said to Birju while he entered the hall.

"From what??"

"from the promise to never put my life in danger.."

"So, you will be IN danger, I can't..."

"you don't understand Birju, her life is in danger..."

"she told you that??"

"no, but I know Birju, she needs my help, please Birju, I want to save her life, I think someone wants to harm her..."

"How sure are you?? you can discuss it with Master, he would do everything to protect her but I will not let you put yourself in danger!!"

"You won't tell Dad about anything of this, please Birju I want to help her!!"

"But why??"

"Because... I LOVE HER!!!! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE HER!!"

Very lovely update. Dev has started to love Radhika. Wow! Hope nothing happens to Dev while trying to save Radhika and hope she realises that he loves her.And,wish Dev is successful in Radhika and himself from Arjun's clutches.
