I have named this VM "The Presence of Love". The title is from a poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, a cotemporary of William Wordsworth. Even though this is a sad song, there is also some consolation of feeling the presence of one's love. The poem also suits Dev/Radhika of CB1.

The Presence of Love (By Samuel Taylor Coleridge)

And in Life's noisiest hour,
There whispers still the ceaseless Love of Thee,
The heart's Self-solace and soliloquy.

You mould my Hopes, you fashion me within;
And to the leading Love-throb in the Heart
Thro' all my Being, thro' my pulse's beat;
You lie in all my many Thoughts, like Light,
Like the fair light of Dawn, or summer Eve
On rippling Stream, or cloud-reflecting Lake.

And looking to the Heaven, that bends above you,
How oft! I bless the Lot that made me love you.

Following is the VM "The Presence of Love".

The next VM is the counterpart to the previous VM - The Genesis of Butterfly. This VM is from Dev of CB1's perspective. This VM is based on the song "Bebasi dard ka alam" from the movie "Babul". All the poems given below and the lyrics of this song talks about one giving unconditional love to his lover. I had liked Dev's character from CB1 because they had shown him giving this kind of understanding and comfort to Radhika who had survived abuse all her life.

Just using these scenes made me once again appreciate Avinash's acting who is superb in using his eyes to emote. Wish they had given him such scenes in CB2. He would have done great just as he did in few episodes given to him during Rohan/Radhika's engagment or during Dada's death.

I have titled this VM "I will be Here for You"; the title is taken from the song by Steven Curtis Chapman. Following is the link to the lyrics and song.

There were other titles and famous poems that apply to Dev and this VM. I am quoting two by Robert Burns and William Blake.

A Red, Red Rose (Robert Burns)

O my Luve's like a red, red rose

That's newly sprung in June;

O my Luve's like the melodie

That's sweetly played in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,

So deep in luve am I;

And I will luve thee still, my dear,

Till a' the seas gang dry:

Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,

And the rocks melt wi' the sun;

I will luve thee still, my dear,

While the sands o' life shall run.

The Clod and the Pebble (William Blake)

Love seeketh not Itself to please,

Nor for itself hath any care;

But for another gives its ease,

And builds a Heaven in Hells despair.

Finally, here is the VM "I Will be Here for You"

Myra, thanks. This song suits Dev because he was there for Radhika giving her comfort. The episodes in the first year were generally quite good because they focused on emotions. The characterization of lead characters was played with in the latter episode but they were not destroyed the way it was done in CB2.

My next VM is based on a gazal. I am not a big fan of gazals, but this is the one I like.

It is "kisi nazar ko tera intezzar aaj bhi hai" from the movie "Aitbaar". It suits Dev and Radhika of CB1 and so I decided to make it on them. This is a song from 1980s movie, so probably many are not aware of this gazal.

I have titled this VM "Waiting"; the title is taken from a poem by Robert Frost. There is also a beautiful poem "Waiting" by Rabindranath Tagore. But the context is different and hence I am not quoting it here.

Also there is a song "Right Here Waiting for You" by Richard Marx. It is a beautiful soft song and following is the link and some lyrics of the song.

Oceans apart, day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice, on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain
If I see you next to never
how can we say forever

Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here, waiting for you
Whatever it takes, or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you

Following is the poem "Waiting" by Robert Frost

What things for dream there are when specter-like,
Moving amond tall haycocks lightly piled,
I enter alone upon the stubbled filed,
From which the laborers' voices late have died,
And in the antiphony of afterglow
And rising full moon, sit me down
Upon the full moon's side of the first haycock
And lose myself amid so many alike.

I dream upon the opposing lights of the hour,
Preventing shadow until the moon prevail;
I dream upon the nighthawks peopling heaven,
Or plunging headlong with fierce twang afar;
And on the bat's mute antics, who would seem
Dimly to have made out my secret place,
Only to lose it when he pirouettes,
On the last swallow's sweep; and on the rasp
In the abyss of odor and rustle at my back,
That, silenced by my advent, finds once more,
After an interval, his instrument,
And tries once--twice--and thrice if I be there;
And on the worn book of old-golden song
I brought not here to read, it seems, but hold
And freshen in this air of withering sweetness;
But on the memor of one absent, most,
For whom these lines when they shall greet her eye.

Following is the VM "Waiting". Hope it is not too slow for everyone. I have repeated couple of scenes, but I couldn't find any other appropriate scenes for those lyrics.
