Agree hari . Angie can do justice to this song by brimging the scenes which goes with lyrics ...Its a haunting song ...This one is for Radhika of CB 1 where both Devki and Amma ji knew but was forced to keep quite and has to hide her feelings from Dev ...She was mentally and physically tortured ...If you look at every line of this song it describes Radhika of CB 1...i may be wrong ..Originally posted by: harianjana

Misti, this next VM is for you on your suggested song "Ladna Jagadna" from the movie "Duplicate".
Thankyou Angie for using this song for your VM. Sorry for being late.Myra, this one is also for you because your favorite is in 50% of the video.Misti, I have made this song based on your interpretation. So I remembered that you mentioned about "deer in the headlight" look of Bholu. Rajsri did come up with the perfect phrase to describe his expressions. It took me time to make this VM because the song is very fast paced and it changes quickly from scene to scene whereas TV serials are so slow. Also Rohan and Radhika's scenes were fine. But I wasn't sure about Bholu's scenes. But in the end, I think I got the ones to match the song. Also the second dilemma was the story of the VM. In many places, I was tempted to use lyrics on just Bholu and Rohan with Radhika as a spectator because in one place, lyrics really suited a smirking Rohan and seething Bholu. I was wondering about the ending too as I was thinking of Bholu, Rohan and Phullu scene. In the end, I decided to save joint scenes of Bholu and Rohan for a separate VM.Angie Rajsri did come up with the perfect phrase to describe Bholu's expression when Radhika used to go after him...it was the perfect "deer in the headlight" expression. Bholu's expression when Radhika looked at him from under her ghunghat when she sneeked in to talk to Bholu in the Purohit house was priceless. She was bending to touch dada's feet and she looked at Bholu with a very innocent expression and that freaked him out. I liked how you incorporated that scene in the VM. I also liked the way how you used the temper tantrums or Bholu..his Lord of the Manor reaction towards Radhika. Rohan's sarcastic expressions used to remind me of the character of Joker (Batman) and both he and Radhika had a good hate relationship...it was dislike from Radhika's side while Rohan's was obsession combined with getting even...and he used to enjoy torturing Radhika. He always reminds me of kids who enjoy tormenting animals just because they can...Radhika at first used to tolerate him but when his real face was revealed to him she could barely stand the sight of him and used to show her disgust quite openly. So I liked the way you showed the interplay of these two reactions from Radhika and Rohan.Few days back in one of the forums I read something very interesting and after reflecting realised that it is also quite true...that there are two types of negative characters...one whom the audience loves to hate and one whom the audience just hates...the former brings in audience because the audience hates the character for what he or she is doing to the main leads but also cannot resist from being entertained by him/her...but the latter, the one whom the audience just hates drives away the audience because they cannot stand the sight of that character...so the former contributes in making the show a success while the latter results in the show dieing. Rohan along wth Maheshwari and Virat belonged to the former category (all three had excellent chemistry with Dev and Radhika and that chemistry was needed to give the sparks to the show)...while Barkha belonged to the latter.I have got a title for that VM already. I just need a song where I can show snarling Bholu and smirking Rohan. So Misti, only you can come up with the perfect song for these two.Well I have a song ...have been thinking about it for some time but not on something that you are asking for...this one I think is for Radhika...I will keep your request in mind when I am listening to songs.
Coming back to the VM, I have titled it "The Ogre, the Princess, and the Evil Lord" starring Bholu, Radhika and Rohan. So we know the princess and the evil Lord. So that implies Bholu is the ogre.Rajsri, don't get mad at me for calling Bholu an Ogre. why only explanation to Rajsri regarding not getting mad and not also to me regarding calling Bholu as an Ogre 😳a have taken this title from "Shrek" where Ogre is good at heart and is well meaning. But he is grumpy on the outside. So Bholu used to be quite grouchy and grumpy with Phullu (Radhika) in those early days where Rohan was his evil manipulative self. Like Shrek, Bholu too was bringing Phullu for the evil Lord Rohan because he wanted to fulfill his obligations. +But then he realized what he had known subconsciously that Rohan was not worthy of Phullu. Also he and Phullu fell for each other. So then in the end, he fought for Phullu (at least in the first half before his character was spoiled). So Bholu is a loveable ogre who gets reformed by Phullu. Okk if it is a lovable OgreHere is the VM: The Ogre, the Princess and the Evil Lord. Phullu is not fearful of Evil Lord and considers him a pest. But she triumphs over both the Ogre (Bholu ) and the Evil Lord (Rohan).that she definitely does.😉😆
Wow Angie , what your interpretation of the song ...really very hilarious ...Loved rohan and the lyrics going with him and then Radhika going after dev and apt lyrics going with Radhika ...you did great justice to this song , while watchinf your video not once Juhi came to mind ..yes now i can think of her ...What a waste ...they all threee had crackling chemistry , where was the need of asur when Rohan was the perfect one to add spice ...Myra should be happy ...Misti comes with perfect song and you with perfect scenes ...i really enjoyed three of them specially rohan with his expressions ...

The ogre, princess and the evil lord..Hmm, now y do i feel i am watching fairy tale 😆 😆
Well, every fairy tale has a princess, prince who may not know that he is a prince in the beginning and then a evil fairy, lord, king or somebody who is then defeated by the prince in order to get his princess. So the presence of evil lord makes it a fairy tale.Love the interpretation..the ogre is adorable, he thinks he doesnt deserve the princess, shoves her away and hurt them both in the process, he is adorable coz he is trying to be an ogre when he fails miserably coz those deer eyes betray him...The princess, always a fighter and not a damsel in distress..love her 4 that..Thanks Myra. Yup the ogre is adorable and he turns out to be a sweet prince in the end. But the princess has to rescue him here. Yes, his deer eyes do betray him. Except for when he is throwing full-fledged tantrums, he lowers his eyes with guilt every time he is grumpy and grouchy with princess. The princess Radhika of course is no damsel in distress. She is the one who is handling evil Lord Rohan on her own. And she was never scared (except when she thought that Bholu's life was in danger). She used to look angry or disgusted but not scared in every scene with Rohan. Radhika was such an interesting character before she was changed in the last part. She was fearless and decisive and capable of fighting her own battles. Only Bholu used to bring her down either by showing his disbelief in her. But then she also used to bounce back on her own too. What a pity that such interesting characters such as Bholu, Radhika and Rohan were so misused and under utilized in the last part of the show especially during Barkha and Madhavi track. Now the evil lord 😉 Now what to say, its a crazy coincidence that when i come to visit after long i find him here 😆 😆 Now how am i to concentrate in making lunch 😳 😆See, I bring Rohan and you are here instantly. Is there a telepathic connection going on between you and the mention of him? Did you finally manage to make edible food or were you forced to order from outside?😆 Really entertaining, thank u angie. Thanks, Myra. And you are welcome. I am always sure of your reactions when Rohan is mentioned.
This next VM is on a song suggested by Misti. The song is "mere khayalon ki Mallika" from the movie "Josh". It is from Dev's point of view.
Since this is a song where Dev is imagining Radhika as this beautiful dream, I have made it as a fantasy where the scenes are from his dream world. I have titled this VM "A Dream Within a Dream".
The title is taken from a poem by Edgar Allan Poe, an American poet whose work is quite famous. This poem fits Dev even though it doesn't fit Dev in this VM. I just liked the title as in the context of this VM, Radhika was a beautiful dream whom Dev was looking for. In this VM, he is dreaming of his dream Radhika. So hence the title "Dream within a dream".
The poem by Poe is a sad one however. In my opinion, the first stanza fits Dev when he decided to give up Radhika in the first half of hte show. So he is parting from her and the second one is when he lost her because of his own mistakes. So his life (Radhika) has slipped away like a sand passes through one's hands. So only regrets are left. Of course, this poem doesn't fit Dev at the time of these scenes where Radhika is just a beautiful dream that seems to be within his reach.
Here is the poem "A dream within a dream" by Edgar Allen Poe.
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
In context of Dev and Radhika, the fist paragraph is more philosophical where he has seemed to accept that loss. The second paragraph however shows anguish at losing her. Again, the poem is not related to this VM and I am just using the title.
