Barkha in her own way gives the reasoning behind her act and the nuances are hardly picked up. It is a different tale now as she does not know who her opponent is and so it squares up the contest.

If the track is viewed from the point of Barkha and her tricks definitely it is redundant and boring. But if the broader scenario is looked at, it is conveying a different story altogether.
We have R/k guiding Dev to take tough decisions even if it is against his own kith and kin, and we are seeing it put into action by Barkha's deeds. Would this have been possible if the real Radhika had been with Dev? Was Dev not. Parivaar man, who could not go against his family and it's honor? Was it not dadaji's ideals that parivaar must always be together and did not ddj teach this to Dev when they were sitting in front of the stars one moonlit night? Was it not for the sake of parivaar that Radhika made the sacrifice? Yes, Dev is on track that for justice to be rendered correctly everyone is equal in the eyes of law. So the first step was taken today where Viraat was punished and prominence given to the wrong doer than family honor.
Dev is taking decision against DD but is he getting to the bottom of things he is just very superfical
Does it mean that ddj's teachings and ideals have begun to wither away? Is this the first step? What about the other inmates for whom parivaar is to be kept intact like Padma and Daima? Will they be able to see the difference between Barkha and Rahika? Radhika cannot be blamed as she is in charge of home while Barkha manages the outer world? Barkha did not hesitate to name Viraat as the culprit but Radhika did not name Rohan as her wrong doer? She kept quiet for the sake of the family and was happy with what was given to her?
On a broader note these thoughts if addressed more strongly will brighten up this track than giving importance to Barkha and her next move.
My thoughts.
Very interesting thoughts lets see what happens and as you said BH neither cares for the family nor the ideals of RPship she is greedy for power money and wants to control all maybe she has a revenge motive but as yet we dont know have to see as the story moves forward
