Thanks Angie for posting ... i am feeling very sad and empty inside for how they have little by little destroyed the beautiful character of Dev.

- He was an orphan ...but they showed none of the pain that he may have felt growing up and being treated like a servant in the house
- He lost the love of his life to someone he thought was better than him ... and the only thing we had to see that was avinash's brilliant acting totally compensating for the lack of dialogues
- He finds out that he is the future RP and that dadaji whom he loved and revered basically meant to keep him in the dark his whole life if it had not been for the kashi maharaj prophecy ... but they never showed any of his pain in that
- He makes a decision to announce to the world that barkha is his wife and they do not show him repenting or planning on how he will rectify his mistake ... instead they show him happily planning an SR with his rads or doing his RP duties with barkha as if nothing had happened

For the first time since CB2 started i cried today ... and i cried bcos they have been slowly killing dev ... not giving him a chance at all ... they killed rads physically but they kept her soul intact ..

I totally blame the creatives and writers for this ... they have no empathy for the character of dev ... they believe that he is inhumane, that he would do anything for the sake of duty

Their only focus is rads and barkha ... this story is about two childhood friends ... one of whom is so good and such an orphan that not even the father or husband who adore her come to her rescue ... the other is evil that everyone is helpless in front of her

This is not a love story between rads and dev ... this is the story of a girl who is so oppressed by everyone around her that her best friend kills her, marries her husband who seems to have been taken over by a zombie ... and the person i feel very sorry for apart from dev is avinash ... based on his comments i dont think he signed up for this ...

Now, they want me to believe that a guy who until 2 days back wanted to make things right and give his wife her rights back will suddenly turn around and marry the girl that his wife was accusing without having the slightest doubts and to save RP and out of a sense of duty towards that girl? is there any rhyme or logic to this ... and a guy who could hardly live without his soul mate now does not even go searching for her when he finds that she did not come back ... do these writers even know what loving a person means ... what sort of a monster do they want to make dev into ... Are they so clueless on writing for him or are they so obsessed with rads and barkha that they cannot see beyond that?

Thanks writers and creatives and channel heads for inch by inch destroying a beautiful character ... and avinash ... superb job enacting this role where no one seems to care what you do ... hope you and rubina move on to better things

I am consoling myself thinking that the drug burkha put in the juice has caused damage to dev's brain that is why he is behaving like this otherwise no normal person would behave the way dev is right now.

Well, the fans also have power in their hand. They do that by switching to other channel and other shows. So if CB is destroyed so deliberately and then is closed citing viewers' disinterest, do they really think that viewers would come back to watch this channel's new show or this PH's new show? One buys second product based on their experience of the first product. Here they have done it twice with CB1 and CB2. So will audience come back the third time. They have forgotten the "cry wolf" story.

The fans r using their power and whatever they do, r not coming back to this channel, once they r switching to the other one. At my home itself,
My aunt who loved watching CB 1, did not see this season, due to the prior experience, she shifted to Sahara One and is now enjoying the comedy serial there.
My mom who used to follow PR keenly, has also lost interest due to the current track and is now shifting off. So we see how viewers use the power of remote, while they can enjoy the dipping TRP's.

I guess that is the reason or his body has been taken over by some other soul. Because this is not Dev and I refuse to justify this behavior by citing his background or upbringing. If a servant Dev who felt obligated to PF for all they done to him and thought of BB as Devi could forget his obligations because of Radhika being in danger, this Dev would have by now uncovered Barkha's truth and told the truth publicly regardless of consequences.
This Dev is the creation of channel's and new writers team (the ones who came after July 24th) and has no resemblence to the Dev we all love.

It is true. My mother used to love CB1 except for last three months. She started watching CB2 since the fake wife track and promptly lost interest. Then when she came to visit me, I used our forum analysis to explain various characters and she got into it. Now she doesn't like the show at all once again and thinks that Barkha is an illogical character. She also used to watch PR but skip it now most of the days.
Also she like other viewers are not attached to any particular show or actors. So they switch off very easily to other shows.
Viewers are using the power of remote and it is evident from the falling ratings.

Angie do not you think this was the intention of the concerned people ...They have destroyed him by killing his soul thus viewers hate this Dev character ...They are successful in their motive ...Someone i know lives in village , is sarpanch , ...She was asking me today what kind of story they are showing , barkha dig up a hole 5ft. deep and what happened to Dev .he is ready to fill Barkha,s maang ...The same happened , when he behaved ruthlessly with her , then viewers drifted away , then again and again , its Dev,s character which is getting ruined ...Even illiterate person knows whats happening...

When we were told that CB1 was coming to an end, fans went absolutely out of their minds. But it ended after a leap as I am sure most people would remember. Then the dust settled and we all came to terms with it. My point ...WHY did they decide to bring back a CB2. ...raise peoples hopes and then destroy it.

Actually I was quite pleased and thought ok they will continue from CB1, but as we see its not like that. Still old fans and new ones continue to follow CB2. but slowly the story lines started to fall apart.

I think they 've dug a hole for themselves and is unable to get out of it and the more fans share their opinions and disapproval of Radev's characters...seems they probably trying to get out of it but are going down deeper. Are they heading for a leap again and then 'the end'...well as I said CB2 ended when Rads die. I rest my case.

Great thread! They've damaged Dev's character to the core, yes he has been brainwashed by Barkha but that doesn't mean he should become heartless towards his wife.

The sindoor scene was the worst, I was expecting a gust of wind like before or something which would have stopped Dev from having to put sindoor on Barkha but instead it was intentionally done further adding salt to the wounds of fans everywhere.
Zee's downfall continues, I just can't believe how much damage has been done to these shows in such a short period of time.
