why6, I see you have changed your name. :)

I have been away from the forum for so very long. Not sure why but just felt like logging in today to see if some of our old friends were still here.

Read your post with mixed feelings. Mixed feelings because I was so happy to see some of you guys are still here and sad that nothing has changed with the creatives. They are still the filthy minded people for whom nothing else is important other than making money at the the expense of their actors and the audience.

I have hardly watched the second season. So, I am not exactly sure of of all the highs and lows of the show. I am still in touch with few forum friends and know the gist of the story but that is about it.

Don't you feel like crying when you think of how CB 1 (at least the first half of the show) touched us in so many different ways and how the creatives have tainted the show for us and are continuing to do so. I sure feel like crying. Anyways, good to come back after so long and read your thoughts. :)

Sigrid, thanks. I came back yesterday. Read updates and Misti's thread. I haven't watched the episodes as I didn't have the heart to watch them. I haven't watched today's episode either. But was so furious reading the updates that I ended up posting it as it seems a very deliberate way to destroy Dev and thus mock fans. I am unable to find even one person on the forum who is happy with the destruction of Dev and killing of Radhika.

The killing of Golden goose will come to haunt them. They may destroy the show but people won't hate characters of Dev and Radhika as they intended. They will only hurt their own image and any new shows they plan to launch.

If you see across almost all Zee shows, there is a track of third woman and she is introduced by killing the male lead's character. Here in CB it is worse because it is all done in name of Kanha and Durga and dharam. There at least the love shown is ordinary and here it is divine love where neither can give rights to a third person.

Ekta, it is definitely not the TRPs. The TRPs have been going down since July 24th ME when they started sidelining Dev and Radhika and made Barkha the lead. Her character is revolting as opposed to some interesting negative/grey characters on other channels. Nobody wants to see her and yet she is forced down our throat.

So yes, they are not concerned that the ratings would fall down further. There seems to be something about proving a point to viewers who wanted CB1 to return.

Well, we started loving CB1 and Dev/Radhika jodi because of actors, script and characters. They can destroy CB2 (they have completed the destruction today), but they cannot make people hate Dev/Radhika jodi. Nobody would still root for Dev and Barkha or Radhika and Rohan.

Also viewers have ultimate power when they stop watching any new show this channel or PH brings. There are many who don't want to watch Ekta's shows even if the quality of the new serial is good because they don't trust her product. Same is happening with Zee and DJs. How many of Zee's new shows or DJ's new shows have been successful?

I was watching this show because of Radhika & Dev. Everyone is watching CB2 only because of Dev and Radhika and underlying theme of Kanha. They destroyed both. Nobody wants to see a psychotic murderer as CB or RPtain or a wife of Dev.

Avinash & Rubina are very very talented Actors and are doing an excellent job, so hats off to them 👏 I'll be happy for them, if they end this show, before any further damage is done to their image!
Avinash and Rubina are very talented. I am also starting to think that it may be better for their careers if this show ends. But in any case, viewers have no complaints against them and would watch them again in another show. Just hope they don't come back to Zee or work with this PH again.

I guess that scene was to generate sympathy for the creative team and to show that Radhika is only Dev's wife and true love. What true love where you give her rights to somebody else despite proclaiming that you would never do so. Now he is going to search for her when he has done what he thinks she was paranoid about. What nonsense.

That scene was to justify the creative team and channel in viewers eyes. As if they would be successful in doing so.

Phyl, you are right that CB2 has ended. It has been destroyed badly by channel who control the creative team. I don't know what the purpose is. Is it to bring down the ratings so low that they can justify closing the show. But they could have easily closed the show on a good note. Now no matter when this show is shut down, it is going to leave a bad taste in viwers mouth.

These sentiments are not unique across this forum. You go to other Zee forums and sentiments are same. So that's why this channel is going down. They neither respect their products nor about their customers (viewers). So viewers are responding by using the remote and changing the channel.
