Noble Lie: Definition
This term was used by Plato's Socrates in the Republic although fictional account. It claims that if people believe certain myth (in this case Barkha being the Rptain) that would have good effect on society to keep the order and making them more inclined to care for state and one another.
We humans have fickle minds. We believe what we want to believe and can be easily be brainwashed to believe other be it right or wrong. One minute your neighbors would be your friends and the next minute would be your enemies. These are all politically driven. Both Radev including dadaji showed myths to society to keep the order or otherwise their whole kingdom would fall apart.
I certainly don't condone Radev decisions; however, I always believe that we always learn from our mistakes. Radev are both human beings and should have freedom to make mistakes. We all make mistakes and that's how we learn. As children, we learn to walk by falling.
"What do you first do when you learn to swim? You make mistakes, do you not? And what happens? You make other mistakes, and when you have made all the mistakes you possibly can without drowning - and some of them many times over - what do you find? That you can swim? Well - life is just the same as learning to swim! Do not be afraid of making mistakes, for there is no other way of learning how to live!" Alfred Adler, Austrian Psychiatrist.
This is another obstacle Radev have to go through and they will emerge as a winner. They may experience hardship, but who does not. They may have to take penance from society, but who does not. We all have experience some kind of punishment. Certainly I have for cutting school. So let's see how Radev Noble lie brings out the positive effect and how they come out of this conflict. I am looking forward to Avinash and Rubina's mind blowing performance.
