Sunita I don't agree with you. I don't see any positivity in this episode. Dev lied on the first day of his RPship. If he did it to protect Radhika then what about Burkha ? how can he do justice to her now ? He should have told the truth and face the consequences.
I am hoping that monday they show that this whole epidode was dev's dream.

I didnt write this thread for you to agree with me but to give your opinion. I gave mine and you give yours and i appreciate your input.

Dont get me wrong anyone who knows me know how much i liked this show and Radev but bcoz of what was shown yesterday i only got courage to look at the episode today.

I didnt say i support what was shown but was trying to look at it in a diff angle.

Lets see the direction this track takes from Monday onwards.

I do not like this episode because it made a mockery of the hindu religious sentiments and beliefs and they CH,Ph and director had no business to do it and a show which is showed all over the world what does it mean will any religion tolerate. other day someone posted does hindu or Indian wife behave like this so you see even if its fiction what message it is giving.

secondly if they want to proceed on such a track why they use the name of God and then during the yagna which is again wrongly presented a number of people can do it but not this way.

Though it a story and as far as the story goes and they want to dumb the leads and audience to hate them and show some sympathy for Barka I dont feel any for her as she is the one for this total chaos by 1st agreeing to marry Dev and then leading them to this mess.Maybe left to themselves they would have solved some other way
Humans can make errors and those errors can be shown in a different way as many have already pointed out.
I really sympathize with the acting team who has to do this sort of a episode and hats off to their acting talent. They are just the public face of what is produced by the inside team which they make it real for the viewers by getting into the roles.

Sun.
really great that ur made a positive point.

But still i really angry with what Dev has done.
He got so scared of society pointing fingers at Radhika that he choose agaist his Will.
I was like Is this Dev. If he didnt stand for Radhika ( to clear her name) then when will he. Isnt it his responsibilty also to protect Radh's image in the society.

But i think Angie made a point here. I agree with angie totally.
Angie great thoughts. u have penned down brilliantly fron the starting to end.

and coming to the puja part. I really dont buy that scene...( i agree the scene was very cute, the starting where Dev takes her hand)
I'll tell, the regular viewers ( who do not analyse the show like us) when they see Dev standing there would have freaked out hearing his decision( after seeing the determined Dev showed few episodes back) and in that frustration even if they have showed the puja scene that wont sink into them...this will only backfire on Dev their thinking would be what the heck ...and the precap dont ask me, it is totally freaking out...

lets see how CV's take this..
but i still cant get over it. i how much ever think to not think about this...reh reh kar chubtha hai...Kyun Dev babu ne aisa kia..😕

Sun-singh, when I had read some comments of the show, & did not feel like watching it, But after I read some positive thoughts by Minajay & other CBians, we finally watched the show & was glad that we did...& we did see the positive side in that episode...I was feeling very sorry for Dev standing alone, by himself , lonely , week , forlorn like no life was left in him when he had to voice the name Bk , & when Rd came by his side, it was like his jaan came in his dead body...brilliant perfomance by Dev & Rd...I would give them standing ovation...perfect to the core...

I do not know anything about more of Dharam but for me the major let-down ,was, when you are sitting for puja with someone else and holding the hand of someone else , this way you are insulting the puja , if you have taken some decision then respect that , here Dev character is not a Rohan kind of person , he was mature and always kept his words, ...This was insult to the both person ...This stupidity was shown that the viewers should be happy ...Radhika should have been sitting , no problem ...This was a major let down for both the character, as was the intention ... , Other nonsense was precap , when were shown feeding each other ...Should have done in some sensible way , keeping in mind the character of Dev , it all does not sit with both of their characters ..Hope this all turned out to be dream ...

Thnx Sunita for your positive post. Missed out the episode but after reading the WU I was angry on Dev.But your post was really a morale booster. If the pooja was completed by Dev & Radhika that means she'l eventually get her rights back.I feel the first thing that Dev will do is to get Radhika her haq in the society & will let everyone know that he married Radhika & not Barkha. If he had accepted Radhika the whole society would have shown detest to Radhika which would have been worst.I think we should wait & watch & not come to any conclusion.

You r welcome dear, so far they have kept the divine connection of RaDev intact even in yesterday episode RaDev love was there for the viewers to see, esp from Dev when he held Rads hands and said his vachan looking at her was really good.

Lovely acting from Avinash & Rubina in yesterday episode.

Dev's well being Rahdika made Barkha sit.

If Dev did say Barkha it's because of Rahdika's constant push for it.

But I found it amazing that in one moment people can forget how much you've done for them and walk all over you.

For ex Dai Ma, she doesn't care how much Rahdika is suffering at all, she's completely blinded by it. And to add icing to the cake, Padma asked Radhika to sit at the puja and allow her husband to complete this puja with some other unmarried person. Wasn't Dev the same person who stopped her from leaving and always loved her like a son? It makes me sick to see a smile on both of their faces, because Padma was the other wife, and she was so upset and hurt about that fact, but this didn't stop her from doing injustice to Radhika. Many many years ago maybe they didn't have any control, but today they did and they still chose to do the same exact thing.

One cannot snatch happiness from one person and give it to another, it doesn't make anyone happy.

What happened to Dev's mother was the same thing that happened to Radhika.

So everybody thinks it's "right" to do this to Radhika for the greater good of people.

It's exactly what Ram did to Sita Devi, when the society thought she was impure.

But here's where the difference lies, Kanha may be Vishnu's Avatar but there roles were different. Ram lived a life and lived in righteous, Krishna played a leela. And that's where they went wrong here. They made it look like Krishna wanted somebody else to sit with Radhika's husband and pretend she is his wife. That entire thing is based on a lie. And when did anyone ever say any righteous is supposed to be based on a lie? Not only that, but sitting in a such a ritual when Radhika is the real wife yet not there, what does that even hold any account to? Yeh toh dharam ka satyanaas hogaya.

I also hated how right before the name was announced, Radhika said this is the real test of her prayers to Kanha. Which implies Kanha wanted this to happen, that's not right at all...

And to add to the a women makes or breaks a house, I agree with this statement. But where does a line draw here? How much does a woman need to suffer and endure to make her house? So much that she gets kicked out of her own marriage and her own house?

Patni dharma does mean protect and love your husband unconditionally, but it doesn't mean let your husband be somebody else's!

EDIT: I forgot to add about Barkha's mother! What the heck was wrong with her? She also wanted Radhika's husband to be claimed as Barkha's? No shame? I was so surprised and shocked! And truly disappointed.
