WOW ... you have put it all so beautifully ... 👏 ... Excellent post !
Thanks Kiddo
Looking back at the episodes that were written by earlier creative writers and the new creative writers now ... there is a vast difference, no doubt about it. Kudos to them for bringing about this change and hope they continue to maintain it ... 👏
There is...the script is now crisp, has a logical flow where all the characters are involved in the progression of the story, the characters are also true to their nature and they are also showing emotional closures which we hardly had before. Hope they maintain it.
Yes ... and the best part is the development and gradual progression in Dev and Radhika's relationship ... caring, increased comfort level, emotional bonding and understanding ... step by step, has been shown beautifully. Excellent work by the creatives ... and you have covered all the main points. 👏
Yes...the leads have grown in their characterisation and are more human now.
I think if you had not pointed out the change regarding the new creative writers in your thread, we probably would not have known about it. So, you really deserve credit too, Misti Di. Thankyou, my little cutie pie. 😳 ... I just want to let you know that although I may not comment much often in your threads, I love to read and appreciate your posts always. 🤗
Me...😳...well thankyou. I usually keep an eye on the credits specially the creative department because that interests me...I am one of those who believe that a good story/show needs a strong script and characterisation.

Misti,

I wanted to mention the song selection too in last 10-12 episodes. The original songs of CB2 are also quite good - similar to CB1. But the movie songs selected by them showed no originality. So we had that song from Guide picturized on Radhika during the Holi sequence. Now they did not relate it to any scene whatsoever. Then there was that "Dard ka Silsila" song that was used on Radhika during Pagpheras and then on Dev during that horrible SR episode. Now I like this song, but I relate it to CB1 rather than CB2.

Since the new creatives joined, they have shown three movie songs on Dev and Radhika. They were beautiful songs that suited characters of Dev and Radhika.

1. The first song was "Paigam laya" on Dev and Radhika during the rain. It was a beautiful song that suited the innocent beauty of Radhika and showed Dev dreaming of Radhika dancing for him in the rain. Both looked very beautiful together and it also linked it to the previous episode. The day before Dev had been depressed and feeling low. When Radhika reminded him that all her difficulties vanish when she is with KK, he replied that he too wants to dream but cannot as his dreams keep on getting destroyed. Then the next day he had gifted Radhika that blue dress that reminded him of good times (and also was his first gift to her). Then he was finally free of his obligations after seeing Rohan's brutal side and was able to escape with Radhika. So for the first time since his dreams were broken in Rawal, he started dreaming again of Radhika. So that was a great way to show emotions of Dev and his transition from a person feeling low (for last few months) to somebody who has started to dream again.

2. The second song was Saawariya that was mostly picturized on Radhika. There they show Radhika falling even more deeply for Dev as she started seeing how genuinely good Dev was. So she is feeling fortunate to be loved by this deep, quiet person. So even though Dev was in that song too, the song was from her perspective. Again both looked very innocent and young.

3. The last song was in the kitchen when Radhika was cooking and Dev was trying to help her. Both were shown to fall for each other and feeling good that they finally were together. So the song was from both of their perspective.

So they linked the episodes with both falling deeply individually for one another and then becoming emotionally close where they have achieved a great comfort level. So the songs reflected the gradual growth in this relationship. The songs didn't stand out but looked part of episodes.

I genuinely hope that new creatives are given chance by PH and channel to bring up the show. All the ingredients are in right measure. The show just needs right promotion and good attitude from the channel and PH.

Thanks Misti, for penning down on paper what we were enjoying for the last few weeks...Just a slip of tongue by Rohan and LO...RaDev journey started on different level...from that day on ...and Rohan is still the one who is indirectly pushing them together and getting them stronger ...day by day...sealing the gap between them which was created by Rohan only...and I liked the scene of intimacy between Mohini & Viraat over tea...and I liked when Padma showed some genuine concern over dadaji ...and ofcourse RADEV's strategy how to help dadaji from BB's "chungal"...and I liked the facts that both of them had be shown very intelligent, & smart from the very begining...one thing I realy like about this CB is the dialogue is precise on point... not too much dramatised...as you say "verbal Atyachar"...the fight scene was very well executed...from facial expressions of all characters to throwing the fists ...like..like😊.

With this post u managed to say thank you from all of us too!!The new team indeead made a wonderful job from the past ten days not only by bringing logic to the action but also highlighted the best in every actor from the cast! They offered emotional scene,romance...sensitive topics like loosing parents support and for dev seeing his broh turnin to monster...somehow a "forbiden" love by society, coruption and rich family power in small towns...love 4 the money and greed... All this was put in motion by wonderful actors by some fresh new brains like the new creative team! The track is verry good,on diferent fields...love,passion,belive,friendship,broken familly ties, radev struglle as a couple...and a lil bit of inteligent humor here and there...and the list goes on...what i am trying to say is that the team is on the rite path ,so keep it this way!

You are welcome Myra. This creative team lead by the new creative head is on the right path. All it needs is some time, patience and support from the channel and production house. What I am liking specifically is that they are exploring emotions of the different characters and then linking all these emotions logically to form a story. I hope that they are given the freedom to continue writing as they have been for the past two weeks.

Hi Misti, Thank you very much for this wonderful post. It took 100 episodes for the makers to do things right and here we are finally with a crisp execution of the story with attention to details. With little patience the channel will get the viewers also back. Hoping to see that day soon.

Thanks for the extremely well-couched presentation of the subject. It is very true that the change is very noticeable because the of the free-flow , continuity, attention to details, rightly pointed by you the emotional closures at the right point and the side characters playing their part, some in favour of the leads while some agains t them. We have also seen the growth in the development of Dev-Radhika relationship which was done with lot of fun initially, to a stage where both of them understand each other without any necessity to utter it verbally.
For me the first phase of CB2 was all about Radhika, her various struggles where she had to face the difficulties all alone. She relied on Kanha's blessings.
But this struggle came to the next phase where it was not only hers but for her and Dev to support each other and be for each other. They are still in the threshold of this phase and need to go a long way to solve a lot of issues in front of them. Their running away from home means not only has Radhika been successful in proving a point about Rohan but also has got the acceptance of Dev for her. So they are able to wage this battle together.
The advent of the second phase also brought in the new creatives who have already shown to be pretty imaginative especially in the areaof Dev-Radhika growth. Their romance is of different level here, very subtle, tastefully done. It was impressive to note that they lived the happy moments knowing the danger lurking. This phase also opened up the harsh realities of life which Dev and Radhika would never have foreseen--the betrayal of the farmer family. The way the Kanha factor was done was not jarring but appealing---first the elderly couple who gave them a lift in their car and helped them to go to a place of safety, then the guy at the telephone booth unnecessarily got whacked which gave Radev time to run away behind the bus and give the villains the slip, Dev also got to see the other side of Rohan, then the farmer family where the child saved them again and now they have Barkha who has come to their rescue. In any of these situations both of them could have lost their lives but they have come out of it and this gave them ample opportunity to emotionally bond together. They have reached the stage where they want to live for each other and their love has reached a different level. The creatives have done a great job with the emotional part very well because it is part of human nature and it is more realistic.
The creatives have stuck the right chord in bringing a good balance of drama, romance, humour with the right dosage and perfect pace. This batch of creatives are on the right track and in days to come we should see the result of the good work.
It is not enough if the actors, script writers, the people who do the screen play, the directors to do their job. There should be good support and co-ordination from both the PH and the channel. Giving the right type of advertisement to the media segment and avoid giving any negative information. It is my opinion that CB has not been given proper positive promotions ---we have had a series of negative promos which only has repelled the audience--the latest being the shot at Dev, when Dev has hammered Rohan the next day why wasn't that chosen as the promo? the leads are to be shown intelligent especially when they are fighting this huge battle, why show a promo where the lead is going to be finished---people will be interested in knowing how a problem is solved---so that is an area of concern which has to be addressed.
The channel needs to understand that they need to have confidence in the audience just the way they expect the audience to have UMEED in their products. Be prepared to wait, give the chance for the new creatives to settle down for a select time frame, review the situation and then take a call. Expecting instant returns will not work especially when there has been a change.
As a loyal viewer of CB I have given my opinion and trust the matters written in the thread is taken in right spirits and hopefully we get to see a long run of CB season 2.

Thanks Radha for your comments.
It was interesting the way you have brought in the kanha leela part that they have shown in the last few days...I mean the old couple, the guy in the telephone booth, the couple who gave them shelter, the little girl and now Barkha. Interestingly only Barkha has been advertised as Kanhas doot. In the epsiodes where the others also mentioned in any way as being Kanhas doots? Or was it left to the audience to form the link between these people helping RaDev and Kanha. Now I am thinking that is it possible that since CB's main essence is Radhika and her faith in Kanha, some audience might have felt that the Kanha factor is missing. Also before in purohit Bhavan, Rohan was shown as going overboard.I am guessing that did not sit down well with the audience. Everything in moderation is ok, too much will not work (this Purohit Bhavan and Rohan going overboard has nothing to do with the new creative director). In the last week they have toned down Rohan and have still retained his character traits of being the clever plotter who is obsessed about defeating Dev and getting Radhika, or using Dev to get Radhika.
Thats why I liked it that in this house the writers brought in the Kanhas idol and have again formed a direct link with Radhika and Kanha. Her giving the flower to Dev as Means of protecting Dev since the flower has been offered to Kanha was subtly and nicely done.
As for the script...it is now a balanced one with humour, drama, romance...and one is nt overshadowing the other. Dranma is needed to add the spice in the story and if drama is handled the right way (they are doing it now) and slowly build up then the audience will be interested...but they need time and pateince for that. They have now also kept the characters constant and have used the nature of the secondary characters to take the story forward.Your statement regarding the lack or positive promos is very true. CB has mostly used mnegative promos recently, the only recent one that was positive was the one regarding Rohans truth being exposed and that did show an icnrease in TRP...The audience do not want to see any harm coming to the leads...there is enough negativity in the show, they want positivity.
I completely accept your last sentence that I hope that the makers take this thread in the right spirit and that we see a long run of CB2.

Thanks misti for the lovely post.
The series spends a good 10 episodes setting up a nice storyline and filled with plot twists, good fun and getting for the role of the characters. The characters development are wonderful.RaDev are good in exhibiting all emotions, more of serious emotions such as determination or pain.I liked stories subtle romance, interest characters interplay. It is refresh to see such good writing and direction meld with such superb acting of all casts!Great way of showing how RaDev together facing the problems and how they are growing from it.
I am quite enjoying the show and i'm finding the show to be enjoyable as long as the creatives chooses to tell the story interesting/logical and as long as the story seems to reveal more about the characters. And i've really liked the subtle work that the creatives has doing and as the result we got nice subtle romance including humor conversations between Barkha and Mohini(as one of our CB members said, for a change i also want a love triangle between Barkha-Virat-Mohini in a fun way).
so far Barkha was shown as bubbly, chirpy and positive character who was willing to do anything to her childhood friend. The future entirely depens on how they are going to use Barkha character and the process involved. These past 10 episodes have done a good job of setting a tone to the series, which means that if the show introduces something more substantial cum logic in the future, then it will have greater meaning.
The reasons for low trps as all we know weak emotional closure, complicated twists, repelling promos and directional flaws😡.CB has more potiential audiences,to bring that audiences back as well as new audiences, they need to really work hard as the audiences lost their trust in the creatives. For that they have to attract or bring audiences to the show by publicizing. But instead of publicizing the show with attractive promos, they are repelling the existing audiences by just throwing the repelling promos once in a while and hoping audiences magically comes back and watch the show.If the creators putting their efforts in creating the show,so why not the same creators put much effort in publicizing and marketing.Showing a promo will not instantly snag a loyal audience of more to the show, but they get a lot more viewers by enthusiastically and aggressively touting the show than by sitting on their hands and hoping the audiences will stumble somehow on their work. And I do hope that the new creatives will develop the opportunity that was at their hands as steady workers and makes their marks.Best wishes to the new creative team.
