Thnx misti for the lovely post. The last 10 episodes were amazing.The best thing is they have included all the characters & have been consistent. I think from Monday we might be able to see dadaji as well. The CVs have surprised us for the past 10 episodes. The track where Dev kidnaps Radhika was quite surprising since I hadn't thought he would do this. Infact Dev - Rohan fight was also very well done. The relationship between Dev - Radhika has been very realistic.Gradually they are coming closer to each other. I hope the PH keep this track & don't change it.Eventually the TRPs will increase.

Welcome back Devika. Hope you enjoyed yourselve in India.

Its my pleasure and thatnsk for liking the post. If possible do watch the last 14 days of episodes. They are well made and you will get the flavour of the story to understand what is going on. All the characters have been used well and even if the characters are not all together they have been well linked in the episodes.Nobody is pingponging and they are being constant, their emotions are elat with dealt with in the episodes itself.

Thanks mist for a wonderful thread ... looks as if cb2 journey has started 10 days back a good work by cvs ... aure it would have been a hard task for them to make it interesting from the point were the previous cvs left yet they haveplaced the chasing scenes and romance in phase and they have started to build radev relation stronger ...

Though the trps r low its not much less to the trps of zee new shows which they keep on promoting I think that the new cvs will bring cb back ... as of now all charcters r brought together in building the story which is a good aspect for the story wish mansa family also has some moves ... Great results r expected if zee also promotes dnt know wt is going wrong amidst them

You are welcome valleyhouse. In the last two weeks or so (after the new creative director joined the show) the quality of writing and their way of handling the epsidoes have improved a lot. As you have said the leads are together and fighting for their rights, all the characters have been invloved in the developement of the plot, the tracks are linked to eacjh other.Even if the characters are in different places it does not seem that there is any break in the story telling.For me it is the emotional closures that have brought back the charm in this story. Thy have also introduced a positive and chiry charatcer in the form of Barkha. These are all recent changes and it will take time for the track to settle and the audience to reconnect with it. Can't Zee and the PH give the audience that time...give the creative team that time and patience to tell the story in their way? Are we the audience asking too much from the maker of this show?

If you look at the top shows they all have drama, romance, bit of humour but the one thing that stands out is very strong characterisation and strong screenplay...without these two a show cannot last. However good the actors are, it is characterisation and screenplay that drives the show...hooks the audience and makes them come back for more.

Its only in the last two weeks that the screenplay has picked up and the epsiodes are well written, the characters are clear, the story is flowwing logicaly. Before there used to be some episodes which used to be good but then they used to go overboard with negativity and that drove the audience away.We all have problems in our own life and we watch shows for entertainment and that includes positivity winning over negativity, not the other way around.Also too much similarity with CB1 will also drive the audience away. ..we want to watch something new, something that is just for CB2. The current track is giving that but it will take time for the audience to reconnect with the show and the new creative team to lay the framework.

Misti, you are so right about that. The stories of some of top shows are quite crappy at this time. But they are doing well because characterizations are consistent and people have become attached to characters. It happened with CB1 too and that's why the ratings remained good in the second year. If they hadn't ended the show and instead gone to good tracks, they wouldn't be in this situation.

They really messed up with PF's characterization in CB2 and hence people haven't become attached to any characters except for Dev and Radhika's. Now they are rectifying that mistake but need support from PH and channel in giving good promos. Before the shooting promo, there was that promo of Padma with a smile telling Radhika to move to Rohan's room and both of them looking helpless. Then in SBB, they showed Dev asking Radhika to stay with Rohan in her room. The episode was entirely different.

These last 10-12 episodes were so good with a lot of positivity despite showing Dev and Radhika struggling. The audience don't mind that as that adds to the drama. Also Barkha's character is a positive character which is really needed for the show as there are already lot of negative characters. They had Dadima, Vivek, Shastriji and even Vaishali (to some extent) as positive character to balance negative characters of Chacha and the company as well as three Shastri women. Here they don't have many. That is another reason why Barkha needs to be shown positive even if they go for a small triangle.

But TRPs will come back provided there is a promotion of that. There should be a Mahaepisode this month along with good positive promos depicting Dev and Radhika unitedly fighting for their rights and Barkha helping them.

Misti loved your post indeed we were having very good and logical episodes these days and all the actors used properly the story moving forward in a very interesting manner with all the elements romance humor drama and hope the new CVs dont repeat any track from the previous season here as it will dilute viewer interest and hope the Channel and PH give them time for damage control and reel in the viewers back. The viewers who ran away after the fake wife track and the illogical tracks and sequences and looking at these episodes which you mentioned I have full confidence in them unless they are dumbed by the PH or channel.
The Trps which are low now can be increased with proper promos and tracks. These days there seems to be only marginal difference in shows and viewers appear to be shifting from one show to another and this time all shows have been affected in Zee if you compare the points..

The new character Bharka who all can associate with a friend in need is a friend indeed and not the selfish type is like a breath of fresh air for Dev Radhika story and a positive element hope she stays so through out.

On Thursday's episode...very important in terms of logic...Dev says to Radhika...well I said to Barkha that when we will need money...they will let her know, but they need money now...and he goes out to find work. Now days it is very hard to find the right jobs bc of economy. So many people out of work. Dev willing to find any type of job to support his family. Radhika also seemed like she is not the person who would sit around. She may have gone to find some work so that she can feed her husband. Every steps creators have taken logically...

All the best to new creative team...hope they continue to maintain that.

You are welcome Tazzi. These past 10-14 days the characters were used logically and sometime we the audience were also surprised by what was shown. I did not expect them to use the little girl to teach something to the parents and Barkhas entry as a physiotherapist, although earlier it did not make sense to me but on hearing their explanation it did fit into the screenplay. Hopefully they will continue this way.

Misti you have written wonderful post and i agree with you ...No doubt there is continuity now from one episode to other with covering the earlier loopholes ...I never knew it was because of some change in the creatives,s team , only after reading your post realized ...Now story is moving steadily , building up the character, in the way along, by giving logical reasons for the happenings ...Even a pleasant surprise in the form of Precap in the recent episode ...
