I wanted to mention the song selection too in last 10-12 episodes. The original songs of CB2 are also quite good - similar to CB1. But the movie songs selected by them showed no originality. So we had that song from Guide picturized on Radhika during the Holi sequence. Now they did not relate it to any scene whatsoever. Then there was that "Dard ka Silsila" song that was used on Radhika during Pagpheras and then on Dev during that horrible SR episode. Now I like this song, but I relate it to CB1 rather than CB2.

Since the new creatives joined, they have shown three movie songs on Dev and Radhika. They were beautiful songs that suited characters of Dev and Radhika.

1. The first song was "Paigam laya" on Dev and Radhika during the rain. It was a beautiful song that suited the innocent beauty of Radhika and showed Dev dreaming of Radhika dancing for him in the rain. Both looked very beautiful together and it also linked it to the previous episode. The day before Dev had been depressed and feeling low. When Radhika reminded him that all her difficulties vanish when she is with KK, he replied that he too wants to dream but cannot as his dreams keep on getting destroyed. Then the next day he had gifted Radhika that blue dress that reminded him of good times (and also was his first gift to her). Then he was finally free of his obligations after seeing Rohan's brutal side and was able to escape with Radhika. So for the first time since his dreams were broken in Rawal, he started dreaming again of Radhika. So that was a great way to show emotions of Dev and his transition from a person feeling low (for last few months) to somebody who has started to dream again.

2. The second song was Saawariya that was mostly picturized on Radhika. There they show Radhika falling even more deeply for Dev as she started seeing how genuinely good Dev was. So she is feeling fortunate to be loved by this deep, quiet person. So even though Dev was in that song too, the song was from her perspective. Again both looked very innocent and young.

3. The last song was in the kitchen when Radhika was cooking and Dev was trying to help her. Both were shown to fall for each other and feeling good that they finally were together. So the song was from both of their perspective.

So they linked the episodes with both falling deeply individually for one another and then becoming emotionally close where they have achieved a great comfort level. So the songs reflected the gradual growth in this relationship. The songs didn't stand out but looked part of episodes.

I genuinely hope that new creatives are given chance by PH and channel to bring up the show. All the ingredients are in right measure. The show just needs right promotion and good attitude from the channel and PH.

Agree with you DJ,s always have good taste in music whether it was CB1 or CB2 , their own private songs are captivating with good lyrics , they always blended with story as if part of the story ..Paigam Laya ...was the song i first time heard ,but felt that it has A R Rehman,s touch . ...As you listen this song it grows on you ...Same was with Sanwaria , which looked as was picturised on Radhika with Dev ...For the music i will give credit to Creatives ...Just wanted to ask something , when Rohan shoots Dev and thinks he is dead ...When he told Radhika that Dev is dead then was dragging her , that time there was back ground music , was that track Greek , taken from Troy ?

The viewers who ran away after the fake wife track and the illogical tracks and sequences and looking at these episodes which you mentioned I have full confidence in them unless they are dumbed by the PH or channel.
The Trps which are low now can be increased with proper promos and tracks. These days there seems to be only marginal difference in shows and viewers appear to be shifting from one show to another and this time all shows have been affected in Zee if you compare the points..

The new character Bharka who all can associate with a friend in need is a friend indeed and not the selfish type is like a breath of fresh air for Dev Radhika story and a positive element hope she stays so through out.

You are welcome Chalhov and thanks for your thoughts. We have now got the right mixture of drama, romance and humour in the episodes and the sotry is flowing smoothly. The audience did run away due to the fake wife track and illogicla twists and turns,,...but the new creative director in the past 10 days or so have shown that if there is a will then there is a way. Now it is all upto the PH and the channel, whether they want to give time to the new creatives to reel back the audience and whether they have the patience and the want to do so.

Thanks Neerja...the story is nw moving steadily and now it all depends on the makers whether they will give it time to work.

Angie agree with u. the recent songs selected by them were truely exceptions, mainly the paigham laya...and it was so beautifully shot.

It showed the inner feelings fo Dev, how he wanted to see his Radh...
He wants his Radh to be free, dancing like a free bird, free from all problems, just he wants to see that smile on her face.

and the other scene where RaDev's playful convo, where they talk about future which lead to a good romantic scene😳
In that too there was dream, which they want to make it real, just two of them away from the world, just living in their own world in a thier small home... but i am afraid that this wish of Dev babu is gonna take long time(dreaming of themselves in a their small home) as he himself dont know what the furture is awaiting for him.

all these scenes were so pleasant to watch, i wish i could see more and more of them.

They are showing that they are almost living the fantasy world both described in the bedroom of farmer's house. So this is the cottage that is like Dev's small dream house where both would live by themselves as except for Dadaji both have no family anymore. Both are filling a part of their dream even though their relationship is still not public and both are on run.

That's why I like this linking of episodes where in one episode they talk about their future dream and now they in their own world are shown to create that dream. It is not a perfect dream, but they are happy here. Very nice way of showing that and combining it with real problems in their lives.

Angie thanks for reminding us f the song in the recent episodes. the three songs that you have written about fits in with the perfectly...I mean it becomes part of the screeenplay and takes the story forward without using dialgues. The paigam laya song was beautifully picturised and it does show that Dev who had stopped dreaming or had given up on hin dreams regarding his dreamgirl has again started dreaming because of the love and support that Radhika has given him. They did nicely link his sadness regarding the fact that he does not know how to dream, to him buying the blue lahenga choli for Radhika (the dress that his dreamgirl will wear) signifying his desire to start dreaming again and then the paigam laya song and his dream about carefree Radhika, his dreamgirl without any worries who is just enjoying life with him. Saawariya song was for Radhika to love and admire is quiet guy who selflessly does things for others, not because he has to but because thats what he is and the last song was just about them being together.
The creatives have now got their act together and like you I hope that they are given the time and oppurtunity by the channel and PH to take the story forward.

You are welcome maryamavina. In the past 10 days or so the creatives have done a good job with the screenplay, with characterisation,, with the developement of the lead characters, they have used the secondary characters emotions to carry the story forward.Hopefully they will continue to do this god wrk in the future too.

You are welcome Laxmi. The creatives have finally done it...now all the right ingredients are there in the right proportion...all it needs is some patience, support and time from the channel and PH. All we can do is hope for the best.
