Oh Malay's have same customs too? 😲 For me toh its a foreign n weird custom.. If a hubby dies on her wedding day, everyone will encourage the girl to marry again as soon as possible so she can move on with her life and not dwell on it...That is how it happens here.. We don't have any bad luck believed abt the girl at all.

we consider its her bad luck she had to face it..but not that she is the reason for the bad luck. so every1 will love and care for her more and help her cope and quickly move on.Its the same for both guys n girls we don't have any difference.. 😳

we Malay not that extreme... but some old folk still have such kind of believe most of our tradition come from India i guess... we are quite modern now... never believe in such things... even no different between single or widow... they can get married how many time they want!! but still tragedy always follow by tragic thought isn't it?? we don't believe bad luck but still do believe for bad luck omen such as shattered glasses... black cat... hurt by sharp things like needles... me?? bad luck or bad omen... i not even know well about all that then how i can believe them?🤣
