I agree he is not a stupendous actor, again just judging from what I have seen of him ...but given his looks and his limitations, if a story is well written and directed, he could do a lot. In Kismet, a 600 page novel was compressed into just 70-80 episodes, if I remember right, and it started with his childhood, so there was no time to go into much depth. His character did not have too many shades to it.
Then again, while I was a fan of Sanaya from MJHT, I did not DREAM that she would do so well in all the different shades of Khushi ... so it's also a question of the character, the writing and the direction ... and also whether his full potential has been tapped as yet.

Word everything said about Viraf. and Sanz. They both have this air of sophistication and the intelligence to go with it... which I havent seen in any male or female actor yet!

Sadly Indian TV hasnt yet evolved to think on these lines. The only PH that could dare to do what you suggest would be YRF Telefilms. Hoping against hope this happens some day...never did think that beyond me and a select few of my friends there were many others who would love this Parsi pairing...and I ain't Parsi!

Agree , he is an accomplished actor,, no doubts abt tht,,, I understand tht everyone has individual choices,, some ppl may not like him,,, Bt y to put him down just to praise another actor whom u like,, Y this comparison,, n tht too in a Forum and a post which is in no way related to Barun,,,

Y these ppl just cant stick to Sanaya n her acting abilities,, she too has her own shortcomings n plus points,, y not emphasize on tht,,,

agree with u ..CC forum should stick to sanaya and her show .. most of the members want CC forum to be Sanaya's and her show's only!!! they dont want to bring barun , they dont want to bash him.. only few mems are not listening to it.. im an active member of IPK and CC.. chill moderators are there to take care..

Barun is class apart,, He is one actor along with Sanaya who can make u laugh n cry,,he speaks thru his eyes,,, which is a quality possessed by only a handful of actors,,, n did ppl forget his portrayal of Shravan before ASR,, so in what sense is he needed to prove himself,,
This all is coming from an unbiased viewer,, I m more of a Sanaya fan than Barun,, bt i hav to admit,,, he is one magnanimous actor,, and if at all he was hyped,, it was all coz of his talent,,



Coming to the topic,, I do not want Sanaya to ever work with GK agn,, tht lady is famous for ruining her own shows in the end,, she gets bored easily,,, she destroyed Geet for IPK, IPK for QH,,, n the fate of QH is not too far,, just an opportunity,, n she is all done for good with her new baby too,,,
Sanaya deserves lot more better,,, I dont want her to enact another MOther India,, or just a rag doll,, i am sure,, more talented PHs n script writers are out there who would do full justice to her caliber,,

Everyone has there own opinions here I think KS is a better actor my opinion I think it's a joke comparing Barun to someone like KSG as well. You think everyone should have the same opinion as you about Barun being a better actor than KSG atleast DMG & QH are hits Barun previous show was a flop.
