@TM agree with ur points .it is totally PH fault for the show not hitting well with the audience . i dont blame actrors at all even farhan , it is ph's responsibility while casting , a new comer opposite seasoned actress , seriously ?
Show's base has to be strong during early months to attract audience but here there is no foundation for the characters at all. they have started the show without homework and proper planning in hurry and haste that too during IPL , which has back fired hugely. even after getting negative reviews for farhan's acting they have concentrated on manav rather than building CC and UB track. if it is CC and UB from the start, show would have got decent trps. clashing of ideologies was the main theme but slowly it has vanished and reduced to evil saas and good bahu. this saas bahu track is not new to indian telly and it is repeated in each and every show at some or other point, trp audience watch alot of shows irrespective of actors and for them it is same old repetitive one rather than new. i myself being avid tv watcher has seen this track in many shows , and sorry to say this track has been executed very well in other shows when compared to CC.
Show is in fifth month , but till now they have not build up usp of the show. they dont know what is working for the show , they are just flowing with the moment which is the huge blunder from their side. from 2 weeks episodes are good but there is no connection with the past one's and there is disconnect of characters. one good episode in week dont bring trps , there has to be continuity which is missing here. there is no sub plots and no layers for CC and UB .lack of story and poor script is the main reason for low trps.
At last when an actor plays an iconic character on tv ,people (here it is general audience) tend to compare new one with older one. Khushi was such iconic for Sanaya and very much loved by the audience specially among kids. if new one is so good than old one, then only people will start liking the new one, but here when compare to older one , CC falls flat in front of Khushi. this comparison is not new it happens on telly and actors like Smriti irani and many more actors has faced this after their iconic ones. Sanaya is not exception , and that too CC has started just after 4months of her previous show, where the memories of that show are fresh in minds of the people.
At this point what ever happens , this is not step back for Sanaya , she has long way to go .
