It took so much time for UB to realize that cc being modern will still put family and manav above he self ,

A backstory is not necessary, with such strong writers it would be possible for anything to be folded in to lay the foundation of each character, fancy footwork as it were, but I do think the writers need to offer something to hang our hat on. Transitions in thought and subtly are links I think where a lot of subconscious acceptance could be introduced. I find ChhanChhan is similar to an episodic more than a serial story, which is why I think the yin-yang still functions to some degree.
