Before I use to watch only for Sanaya but now I'm watching for Anuj as well I want him to have equal screen space as Sanaya & Supriya. I wish TRP wasn't a big deal I was quit sad to see it decreasing today I don't want the show to end anytime soon I want it on air for atleast 1.5 years.

The show is great...it meets my expectations based on what Sanaya had said about why she chose this show.

I am not into Indian entertaiment, big or small screen...I watch it for Sanaya...I always end up smiling at the end of the episode because of her...that's my expectation.
It is light...like she said...no OTT about anything.
It is a nice cute story...the core story is UB & CC and they are showing it. There is a loving husband (cute one now) and they are showing it.
All the actors are doing their part very well. There is only so much they can show in a 20 min episode.
Sony shows - I think only a minority of Indian people will like...they are not a run of the mill Indian entertainment...so TRPs will always be low...and anyway aren't the TRPs big time faulty and Sony is getting out of that monitoring system.
Copy or similar of or to something else...laugh...isn't most of Indian entertaiment a version of something else.
Just my POV. No disrespect to anyone.
Have a good day!!! 😊

I'm OK with this show - we were told it's not a heavy duty saas- bahu drama and it's not a love story so I wasn't expecting either. Mostly Sanaya fans don't like this genre but Sanaya doesn't chase stardom, for her acting and learning her art is more important, though of course she too want the show to be successful. She's taken a gamble which hasn't paid off yet but let's see what happens in the near future and if the recent changes will make a difference...if nothing else she'll come out of this more experienced and better for having challenged herself.
I'm not sure how true the Khoobsurat rumors are, when Sanaya herself said she was not told that when the role was narrated to her. It's been a while since I saw that movie but I'm not sure if a strict but ethical mother in law is enough to keep the saas-bahu audience going, every saas-bahu drama by default needs a grey/black DIL or MIL.
If you're saying Anuj as a decent actor is a silver lining then I agree but not if you say that because of Anuj himself. I read his tweet and obviously he's feeling the pressure on him and I don't think it's fair to him put that on him.
Anuj and Sanaya make a good onscreen couple but Sanaya does not want to do a love story at this point and I think the creatives can use the bonding between the two effectively without turning it into a love story.
Perhaps because of IPL a lot of time was wasted in establishing characters which was unnecessary because none of the characters is to difficult to understand and also perhaps because Sony rushed production the show lacked polish in the beginning. I've actually started watching the show twice again, once online and then a second time when it airs on TV here so for me the recent changes are working. Perhaps Sony needs to promote the show and it's 30 day bahu out storyline because that is just the kind of thing saas-bahu audiences love.
I think the issue with CC is that it really doesn't fall totally into the saas-bahu slot of screaming saasu-ma's and cowering bahus (I apologise - I know I've said this on numerous other posts too) that the trp audience loves and it's not a love story so that's another audience base it doesn't cater to. It seem to have one foot in the family drama catergory and one in the saas- bahu so finding a widespread audience will be difficult. If Sony's target audience is the saas-bahu trp audience then they need to heavily promote the 30 days bahu out storyline because that's the kind of thing trp audienced thrive on. I'm hoping CC's reaction to all her saas's tactics will be what draws the Sanaya fans. When UB said that a punishment was due for coming out in her nightgown CC incredulously replied 'punishment for that' is something any young girl should be able to relate to and Sanaya has said that this is the kind of thing that will happen. I think over the next week or so the story should start falling into place.
I'm OK with Anuj not being in the house because he's still onscreen and I guess this is something we have to accept because Anuj has prior committments for which the PH has already agreed he can have time off. I belive he will have a large chunk of time off in October for his film.
I don't think the show is any worse than many others but for whatever reason it hasn't clicked and all I hope is that the creatives figure out what the issue is. This can't be blamed on Sanaya's fans because the creatives should be able to generate a new audience base when they have such a talented cast. Sorry I disagree about Anant Desai (the FIL), I like him as an actor but the over reacting anger doesn't seem appropriate when we've been a nicer side to him.

My sincere best wishes are with Sanaya and Anuj this guy is acting great rest is upto CVS/Story writer/PH /Director and their budget and time lines.
Like Princess said If its a journey for CC and Manavs role has to be prominent it could work lets see how long they rushed through the love story etc needed time to dev but If its just sas bahu
sanaya audience will not accept it again its my view point with chan man dominating and cvs building a strong story it can become a path breaker lets see how destiny plays out...

I wish the 30 days is just the Saas Bahu track I wish the do a CC & Manav separation track after that with Manav trying to win CC back and UB remarried them later on <3

One thing for sure and it was proven this week was that had Sanaya chosen a full on love story..although most of her fans would be happy, there would be a quite a number of people to bash, and trash the scene and show.

Taking Monday's gazebo romance scene for example, there were a group of fans to trash the scene because in reality they couldn't see Sanaya romancing someone else so maybe this show will give that break she wanted to give for some people to get over things and come to terms.

But yes im a youth and i love romance so ofcourse by choice i would have loved her to do a love story but i do respect and understand her decision to take this venture.

Looks more like a critique rather than an analysis.
Also, after reading your 2nd comment, it furtherlooks like you want Sanaya to do intense love story ONLY.
I, personally would like it if Sanaya would do a "Vesper Lynd" character.
However, it is upto Sanaya to select from what is being offered to her and what she likes.
I think others have already said a lot of what I was thinking so I won't mention it.
The show has a sweet romance between Chhanchhan & Manav; it is not intense but it is there. He loves her for who she is. She loves him regardless of whose son he is and has embraced a houselhold that is out of her element and is happy to adjust. Let's see what happens.
Everybody should enjoy this show for what it is supposed to be. In the desire for intense love story one will miss the beautiful love that is there.
There is a reality about this show...one just may learn a thing or two.

What happened? I thought the only problem this show had was former Manaav and all Sanaya fans would watch in droves but, for him🤔... So, new issue is "content" 😳

Snark apart - the content was MIA from the start in this show. There is nothing all that new in it. Same Saas tries to torture bahu crap👎🏼 And if one has to watch saas-bahu then there are way better products including Diya Aur Baati.
