They never watch IPK to know the song was used I don't know why people are blaming the PH here and Teri Meri isn't ArShi song it belongs to Salman & Kareena if anyone should fell offended it's them.

When the song started the first thought that came to my mind was "oh my ghosh, the forum is gonna explode today"😆

I took off the IPk glasses I was wearing and rewatched the scene. Then I spoke to my cousins and mom who have not watched IPk and they said they loved the scene and the BG.

So it's ok guys! 😊

Here are my thoughts on the song usage...

I thought the scene was very good and the song was fine too!

The wordings of the song were placed at the right places throughout the scene.👍🏼

For instance

1. They showed both of them thinking about and longing for each other ..."ek duje se hue juda jab ek duje ke like bane"

2. Kabhi socha na tha yeh Meelon door hoga saya...he is standing behind the car and looking at her from a distance, signifying the sudden wall that stands between them

3.Yeh tadap keh Rahi hai MIT jaye faasle...again showed them in pain and missing each other.

4. Teri Meri Baton ka har Lamha sabse anjana...showed FB of first coffee shop date where they are enjoying their sweet talk.

The scene ended with CC remembering UB taunting her and then Dadi laying the final decision on MAnav, Whether he will listen to his mom or his heart. The scene zoomed into CCs eyes and beautifully transitioned to MAnav sitting down to write a note to his mom.

In my opinion, the scene was perfectly executed and the leads gave superb expressions and the BG did justice to the scene.

Finally, if They can use the red&green saree, why can't they use the song?😉

I was never a fan of Sanaya's last show (although I was of Sanaya) but even to me Teri Meri and Jaadu Hain Nasha Hain will always be associated with Arshi. In fact when I hear those songs Salman, Kareena, John and Bipashu (forget any other TV actors or shows) are farthest from my mind because the magic created on the show far surpased anything in the original films..Apart from that there was no need to play any song from Sanaya's previous shows. I think you also said that the PH didn't watch IPK well then someone on the production team should have researched Sanaya's last show even to see what the highlights of the show were and those 2 definitely were amongst the most memorable parts of the show - so i agree with the TM the PH's research team should be more aware of the career of the star on whom they are banking the success of their show. If it was some misguided attempt by the PH to bank on Sanaya's success with that particular song then it misfired big time.

To add insult to injury is the fact that the song was not appropriate for the situation and that's something that keeps on happening with this show. I think the general discontent with the production value of the show is making situations such as this appear to be worse than they actually are. The PH needs to figure out who Sanaya is and who forms the majority of her fanbase because they haven't been able to make a connect with the general viewing audience as of yet and now are also irritating Sanaya fans.

I just find it annoying that they use so many different songs in the show.. I think we've had more songs than expressions!😆

We've had Abhi Mujh Mein, Dil To Pagal Hai, Bahara, Tujhe Sochta Hoon, Tera Deedar Hua, Teri Meri... I've probably missed out more.

But my point is that when you have so many songs it can be distracting. There never seems like a link between the couple and the songs. I prefer it when shows use one song on the couple, it has more meaning and you end up associtating couples to songs.

The episode was really good.

The song is good. Anyone can use the song...belongs to the makers of the song. I am sure it has been used by many and will continue to be used in the future.

However...they should have found another song in this instance. It was the wrong choice for Chhanchhan. Sanaya is Chhanchhan and for many of her fans this song has a special connection...no explanations or justificatons...it just is special.

Personally, I am not happy at all that they used this song. No matter what, when the song suddenly started...the first vison was that of two other people...not the subjects of this show.
