In fact when I hear those songs Salman, Kareena, John and Bipashu (forget any other TV actors or shows) are farthest from my mind because the magic created on the show far surpased anything in the original films..Apart from that there was no need to play any song from Sanaya's previous shows. I think you also said that the PH didn't watch IPK well then someone on the production team should have researched Sanaya's last show even to see what the highlights of the show were and those 2 definitely were amongst the most memorable parts of the show - so i agree with the TM the PH's research team should be more aware of the career of the star on whom they are banking the success of their show. If it was some misguided attempt by the PH to bank on Sanaya's success with that particular song then it misfired big time.

To add insult to injury is the fact that the song was not appropriate for the situation and that's something that keeps on happening with this show. I think the general discontent with the production value of the show is making situations such as this appear to be worse than they actually are. The PH needs to figure out who Sanaya is and who forms the majority of her fanbase because they haven't been able to make a connect with the general viewing audience as of yet and now are also irritating Sanaya fans.🥱

thank u! i guess u explained it in a much more calmer way than me..but this was the issue!

now at least the people who refuse to read the broader issue on the opening post thinking i am seeing through IPK tinted glasses will pay some attention and actually reply to this issue instead of repeating like a broken record that it is not copyrighted to IPK or ArHi!! 🥱
why be so resolutely obtuse🤓 and ignore it and keep on preaching to forget the previous show!

Absolutely agree with you princessunara. The minute I heard the song, the entire dance sequence of u know who came in my mind. this song should be so copy-right for Sanaya's previous show. Of the millions of Hindi songs that one could choose from this is what the music department can come up with! It actually makes accepting this new couple even more difficult. 😡

I have to disagree...the song is not some jodi's copyright. Just because they had looked rocking in that song doesn't mean no show can use that. The target audience of CC wouldn't have even thought of the previous sequences...forget them, even I ,inspite of being an IPK fan, wasn't reminded of those immediately when I listened to the song in CC because it was apt for the situation. And anyways CC makers might not have seen or mulled their heads over those dance sequences like fans,so there's no question of 'understanding the connect btw the song and sanaya'...for all they know,a good romantic number is used for many jodis on television. Just my POV,no offense to fans😊
