Absolutely not, she made a good choice!
Isn't she setting the screen on fire with her looks and performance, and I am all for a light hearted show.
Over dramatized sequences are a non-no for me.
Passionate love story already done,
Youth show done.
What could be better than a family oriented light hearted show with real characters and real life situations?
She did good!

My honest opinion, I am disappointed that she agreed to this role and show. I thought she would move on from her previous role, bubbly and light hearted and would do something intense and matured role or something different.
This looks like typical saas bahu type role with a modern touch.
With the fame and popularity that she earned for her previous role, this is a huge let down . I am not saying about her acting is bad here , but is it any different from her previous role? Opportunity missed.

I think she made a good decision.. She always maintained that she likes to do a variety of roles and Chan Chan is different from Khushi and Gunjan. I'm sure she will provide us loads of entertainment!

Time would tell because I'm not sure. Maybe she could get a better offer, but I trust her :)

With a limited choice of scripts in tv ...what sanaya has chosen is not bad. I would like to see her doing roles like vidya balan in kahani or sridevi in Gumrah...but as sanaya said dream Karen se kya fayda?

I'm not sad about her choosing this show because I have faith that she made the right choice. Maybe she wanted to step away from the typical mills and boons type love stories that are on TV these days. Majority of the shows are like that. In MJHT, she shared the screen with three other actors and in IPK, the show was focused on the male lead and his sister. Maybe Sanaya wanted to do something different and work with a different channel and PH, with a story that revolved around her. Whatever it is, I'm sure she knows better.
I will admit however, I was a bit disappointed when I heard it's a saas bahu show. Even though it will show her as a modern bahu, it's not much different. The episodes till now have also not been very extraordinary or something hatke like I expected. I do hope it gets better and seeing the improvement from yesterday's boring episode to todays, I can tell it will. But like Puja, I too wanted to see her in a youth based show. She looks really young so she should do different roles. I actually wanted to see her in a feisty, badass kind of a role after Khushi. Chanchan seems a bit similar to Khushi at this point, or maybe it's just me. Not sure but I'm hoping for the best.

Too early to tell.

The problem is everyone has such high expectations from every new show these days. More than half the fans were disappointed with the first episode of Saraswatichandra. It happens with every show. Every show starts from the bottom. IPK was not a big hit from the beginning. It took months for them to pick up the pace and get high TRPs, which is what matters at the end of the day.

I'm optimistic about CC because the second episode is already so much better than the first so the improvement is rapid. Most shows take days, weeks or even months to improve gradually. I know everyone wants to see intensity and drama but you can't expect the show to start off like that. We're just getting introduced. The story will pick up pace and we will see more drama when they start the love story between the leads. Lets not forget this show does have a serious theme to it so we will probably start to see the drama part of it as it progresses.

Who's to say if she waited a year and came back with a different show that it would have worked? And define something bigger. This show has been promoted heavily, just like any other big show. It has a very talented cast. I don't think so many of them would sign on to this project if they didn't believe in it. That's why I'm optimistic.
