I personally think she has chosen the ryt show. After all the show itself is named after her character n its all gonna be about her. She is a fantastic actress and Iam glad she chose a show like this so hopefully we will get to see more substance than the run of the mill eyelocks n catch and fall scenes...

Whether SI made the right choice or not, this was up to her. Maybe she wanted to do something different and appeal to a different set of audience. Both her previous show targeted the youth mostly, this one will appeal to a larger audience. It will have romance (which the youth audience wants) and family drama (which the TRP aunties want). I think every one needs to watch the show with an open mind and give it a chance instead of jumping to conclusions - and that too, in two days! There are a hundred shows which have the typical angry-young-man and bubby-girl concept (that people here love.. apparently) and feature the hot and sizzling romance, so if someone wants to watch that, you can always switch to other shows. This is different. SI has an author backed role in this show, through which she can finally showcase her talent. I don't think SI should have waited. If she believes this show is the right choice, then let her do it and as fans, we should support her. No one knows what will work or what won't. I'm sure SI had no clue that MJHT and IPK would become huge hits but they did. You never know ;)

Another melodrama. The similar show in life ok which is coming in promos looks spun kier. I find this show similar to that saas Nina samurai which had no dearth of kitchen politics without a saas.

I see this show so predictable which is fine bt would have liked a new treatment which is not there. Cacophony, loud costumes and melodrama is in gallons.

I think we must wait.

We can't judge the show..only on 2 episode.

Maybe there's something more interesting in story.

I think she's moving across genres and stepping it up with each role. In Left Right Left, Radha... and Miley... she played young/college life and appealed to the youth. In IPK, the youth and middle aged audience (and some cool 60 year olds too). With Chhan Chhan, it's the average Indian housewife and the social structure she targets. It's a very good decision to avoid being typecast. No harm in that. I also think doing a love story just after IPK could be a bad decision. Everyone would compare and contrast. Potential damage after that fantastic chemistry with Barun. She wanted to keep it light and not be bashed immediately by those who expect Arshi level of finesse for chemistry. So this is a safe bet.:)

But yes, in trying to give a message, I hope they don't get too preachy. And also, God forbid, if (only IF) the show doesn't strike a good chord, they should take it off air as opposed to stretching it so that she can take up another project. I have a feeling the channel won't do that because Sanaya is popular.
But it is too early to comment on that now! So I'll just sit back and enjoy the show.
