So, I don't know about easy reads. Like I said Sivaji Sawant's Karna is a really good one. Tamil translation should be there. Yagnaseni from Draupadi's perspective by Pratibha Ray is good. Most of it, I have read in Malayalam. So I don't know, really.

And most of my knowledge in mythology comes from poetry and grandma stories, apart from reading. 😆

Are these in Malayalam? Tamil translation's no good for me.. My Tamil is very basic.. I wanted in English.

Nah. Karna is originally Marathi and Yagnaseni is originally Odia. I know Yagnaseni has an English translation. Not sure about Karna.

And I have heard Devdutt Patnaik mythology books are decent and easy to read. Haven't read though. You can try those out.

You know I really like that everything is not so black and white in the show. The husband never loved Anupama and when he meets this colleague (kavya)..he genuinely falls in love with her. He's not a womaniser. Kavya also loves him. I've watched around 150-200 episodes and there's a love-hate relationship that I have with many of it's characters. It gives me food for thought. 😊

Austen I haven't even reached the point where Anuj makes an entry 😆 and I still like the show a lot..

Intoxicator you can also watch a condensed, quick journey of Anupama on the "Kahani Ab Tak" feature..it's on Hotstar, must also be on Hulu. That's what I did and it was enough to get all the main points and the most important scenes. So even if you start after 80 episodes, do watch that summary, it'll give you an idea of all characters, esp.the mcp husband.

Please avoid devdutt pattnaik books, he just twists everything with whatever he has in mind.
