Idk. Most people I know are aware of how Indian judiciary works and are also well aware how credible Indian media is.

I have always been heard and people understand in general like “don’t take panga with lawyers” because they can file any damn case in court and you will spend years fighting it. People know. Aryan’s going to some party like that itself was a red flag. He let them detain him; had it been some Delhi person or a local they may have not been able to. It shows his naïveté & the fact that he has spent considerable time abroad.

Especially after covid second wave the tide has turned. Even the ones I knew had always supported the government have turned against Modi and don’t really believe him anymore.

I have been permanently settled in India for 13 years now. (Delhi NCR & UP). Most Delhiites especially don’t like BJP.

I don't know about other countries, but one thing I can say for India is that, every person has a demon inside, that is by nature. It depends on the Govt or Society how much of it is nourished further to let the Demon take over the better of you. And for last 7 yrs, this Govt tactfully has successfully fed that demon of MAJORITY of people. The result is here. Things which we couldn't even utter 10 yrs back, or hesitated to say even in front of friends and close relatives, today we can say those OPENLY. Troll culture, default-lack-of-trust upon a certain community, instant hatred against people who are suspected to be guilty etc. (not just limited to a community) - all these are result of today's condition. Could anyone imagine saying these lines of 'Mujhe nahi pata, par kuch toh kiya hoga' on SRK or his family ???? We used to fight with our cousins till a point of one gets a bone fracture over 'who will get the first CD or cassette of his new released movie' back then.

People of India might not be responsible for the fall, but they have to certainly take the 'credit' for it. A govt is nothing without people enabling them over the years.

All right. You don't have to discuss politics. None of us have to. But I'm seeing a whole country being maligned, and I have to tell you this ain't right. Not for SRK's sake, not for anyone else's.

Also, political parties have been doing this for a long time. Check out incidents from 1970s India. India voted for that political party also. What bigotry should we then blame them for?
