Well this was the first movie I watched after coming to the US. It was the year of 2000 Tamil new year time frame if I am not wrong. Those days Indian movies were screened very rarely and that too only Hindi had lot of viewers. That was also the age where the online thing was just catching up and we cannot find immediate review for movie. Since it was Manirathnam it was being screened here. The theater though was 25 miles away in a different city. And I was less than few months here getting used to the place. I was a huge fan of Maddy since his sea hawks series. So wanted to see this movie My roommate was reluctant saying why travel that far for some new guy...but since I was bent upon we decided to go after work. We lost our way and finally found the theater half hour past the show. No online booking and when we went it it was the first row from the screen was only empty. Had to watch like tennis match turning from one end to other. But then this was the first song that I watched on big screen that day. But then I have watched this movie n number of times later...but that first time experience was totally a different package. Good it turned out to be a good one and my friend was also happy.

@visa alaipyuthe that movie i also wont forget. Those songs on the big screen was an experience in itself.

Mano I was a big fan even before the movie. His Sea hawks serial used to come on DD. That was the only serial I want he's and everyone at home had to give in to me even though it was Hindi 😆 😆 my mom used to tell me we'll find a guy for you like Maddy 😆 😆 later when I got married my husband told he would take me to see him one day. Finally when Maddy came here for a conference in 2012 my wish to see him happened. My real life Maddy clicked pictures of me with reel Maddy 😛 😳
