Good analysis Aditi. I liked Padmavati also. But yes Khilji as all dark and Ratan Singh was all white. even in the costumes they chose between the two kingdoms. Though Khilji was so psychotic I must admit that I loved the way Ranveer portrayed. Deepika was good too. But for some reason the movie didn't give that awe feel at the end. I had felt goosebumps when I visited this palace and hear the story few years ago. But the movie did not create that impact. I felt that Khilji's character scope was explored much better than the other two. Still I enjoyed the movie.
